00:00Hey you guys, I'm Stacey and this is Gorgeously Aging Advanced and today we are talking about
00:09the Plaxol Plus Plasma Fibroblasting Pen.
00:13You guys, I am so excited to share that I just got certified in Plaxol Fibroblasting
00:19or Plasma Fibroblasting and this was through plasmaperfecting.com.
00:24I want to share with you guys about this pen, why I've drug my feet on using a plasma
00:30pen and how you can get certified for free.
00:33So I'm going to be doing a plasma sculpt or fibroblasting series, sharing a lot of what
00:39I've learned just because there is so much misinformation floating around out there and
00:45I want to make sure you guys have the best and safest information so that when you're
00:49doing fibroblasting, you are doing it safe and you are getting the best results possible.
00:55A lot of information is out there, some of it is good and some of it is a good jumping
00:59off point for more research but when you get certified, you really get down into the science
01:04of it and understand that not every pen is created equal.
01:08In fact, I now have three plasma pens.
01:12I have not done any plasma fibroblasting on my face because I test my pens on my body
01:18first.
01:19What I have noticed, the first plasma pen I bought probably two years ago was from eBay.
01:26It was reasonably priced a couple hundred dollars but it doesn't create a true plasma
01:31arc.
01:32It basically just burns the skin.
01:34Now in these cheaper devices, you are going to get some skin tightening benefits because
01:39in the wound healing phase, you do get some results but it also comes with a lot of damage
01:46to the skin, potential burns that create scars and create dense scar tissue.
01:51So we want a true plasma arc, not a burn to the skin.
01:55So a plasma arc, you should not have to touch the skin, should be just a millimeter or two
02:00above the skin.
02:01The arc is created, gives a controlled burn essentially or a controlled wound.
02:07Not all of the plasma pens create a true controlled wound.
02:11So the second plasma pen I purchased was from Amazon to test it.
02:16I don't know the name.
02:17You guys, over the last couple of years, I've been trying to decide if plasma fibroblasting
02:21is something I really want to do on my face.
02:24You know, sometimes these things come a little bit as a hype or a fad.
02:29I want to know that the science behind them and the technology that I'm using is not going
02:33to cause long-term damage to my face.
02:36Now that's not to say that some of these cheaper pens are not okay to use, you guys.
02:39When it comes to this kind of technology that you're literally creating a little burn
02:43on your face, I want to make sure I'm not going to create scars or thick, dense scar
02:48tissue that's going to be a problem in the future.
02:50To make a long story short, after purchasing a bunch of plasma pens, not liking the results
02:56that I got on my skin, I usually tested it on my arm.
02:59I kind of put it on the back burner knowing I wanted to try it at some point, but really
03:04not feeling confident with the pens that I had.
03:07In comes Plaxil Plus.
03:09So you guys, this is a medical grade product.
03:12I did put the information on the screen here because you guys often ask and I often forget
03:15to put it in my description down below, but I did remember this time.
03:20But this is truly a medical device.
03:22So the Plaxil Plus is an investment, but you get a free certification course.
03:29So the price of the Plaxil Plus, which again is a medical grade device, is $2,500.
03:34So it is not cheap.
03:35But you get a $1,500.
03:38I actually think it's like a $2,000 value certification, somewhere between $1,500 and
03:44$2,000.
03:45You get it free.
03:46So what that includes is a pretty extensive ebook that you read through.
03:52There's a couple videos that are short.
03:54The whole course really takes four or five hours to read through the entire book and
03:58look at the few short videos.
03:59And then what I did was I went back and then read it again.
04:03You can print it out so you can highlight and make notes.
04:06And then you have access to that material for up to a year.
04:09So you don't have to do it immediately.
04:11You can do it later.
04:12But for me, for two reasons, one, I'm seriously contemplating opening another permanent cosmetics
04:18spa type business in the Colorado area.
04:22And I will likely provide PlasmaSculpt services along with other aesthetic services.
04:27I want to make sure when I'm providing those services on others and on myself, that I'm
04:32using a really good quality device.
04:35I mean, I do not want scars on my face and I do not want thick, dense tissue.
04:40That's going to make some of my other treatments like microneedling and mesotherapy less effective.
04:46So I want to make sure it's done right and that I'm getting the results that I want.
04:50A couple of things that I've noticed is some of the information is pretty minimal or pretty
04:55basic.
04:57So I want to expand on some of the basic information and really do a more deep dive on the science
05:02of plasma fibroblasting and how it can be done to achieve best results.
05:08So I'll be using the Plaxel Plus and we'll be doing some traditional fibroblasting.
05:12I'm going to do my upper eyes, lower eyes, which note should be done on two different
05:17sessions.
05:18They should not be done together.
05:19But as far as if you do the uppers, don't do the lowers the same day.
05:22Let that heal and then do the lowers in a separate treatment.
05:25We'll dive into that later in another video.
05:28Using this attachment, which is the fractional attachment to do treatments on the face using
05:34the Plaxel Plus that give really good results, generate collagen throughout the face, but
05:39less downtime than the traditional plasma fibroblasting.
05:44So there are other ways to use the tools that I think may be even more beneficial to some
05:50people depending on what your goals are.
05:52So I'm really excited to share that with you.
05:56Also something to note, and we'll talk more about this in a future video, is that the
05:59collagen that we're building as these fibroblasts activate and we build collagen, the two main
06:05collagen types in our body are type three and type one.
06:08Type three is an immature collagen and that develops into a more mature collagen type
06:14one.
06:15That's where the tensile strength and this in comes from is that type one collagen.
06:20So if we do an improper treatment and don't activate those immature collagen, the type
06:26three collagen to mature fully to the type one, we don't get the full strength and tensile
06:31strength of the collagen.
06:32Regardless of the tool that you use, and I'm not saying this is the only tool in the world,
06:36I'm saying this is what I'm going to use based on my testing for me, certainly use a tool
06:42you feel confident and comfortable with.
06:45There are less expensive options and plasma perfecting does have a few other options besides
06:49the plexo plus.
06:50So definitely check that out.
06:52But what I love about this is it does come, I want to show you guys this because this
06:56is a sign of a good company.
06:58It comes at a heavy duty metal case and it comes with all of the things that you need.
07:04It is just really well packed.
07:05You guys can see that I took mine out, but it's really well packed and has a certification
07:11of guarantee, which you don't get with pretty much any other pens that I've ever purchased.
07:16And then of course you get your manual.
07:19But this is the reason you guys, why for the last several years on YouTube, as other
07:24content creators are doing plasma sculpt.
07:27And I don't just respect that at all because I've actually, you know, it's a really cool
07:32technology to give you a lift and to address some of these issues without surgery.
07:38For that reason, I think it's fantastic.
07:40But often when we jump in on these trends, we kind of skip ahead and don't really dig
07:46into the science and how it can go wrong or how it should be done to produce the best
07:51results.
07:52So I just want to make sure that in this upcoming series, I'm addressing all your questions.
07:56I'm addressing all the safety concerns and sharing with you what I've learned through
08:00the certification.
08:02And I think that's going to be really exciting for you guys to learn some of this stuff that
08:06isn't, hasn't been necessarily shared online or that I've seen anyway.
08:10Of course, I don't watch a whole lot of YouTube.
08:12So you guys super excited about this certification and super excited that you can buy a pen and
08:18get the free certification.
08:20Now there may be other companies that offer this, but Plasma Perfecting is owned by a
08:25fantastic woman and so helpful.
08:28The best customer service, you know, it is an investment and I know that's not for everybody,
08:33but if you are serious about plasma sculpt, the Plexo Plus is a pen to consider.
08:38And if you are in the aesthetic industry and want to add this into your practice, this
08:44would be a fantastic medical grade device that does come with a certification.
08:49Now just note that if you are somebody who is not in, not an esthetician or cosmetologist,
08:54every state has different regulations about who can perform plasma sculpt procedures.
08:59So look into that.
09:00So if you get certified in plasma sculpt, you may be able to use it without any other
09:05special license.
09:06You may not have to be a cosmetologist or esthetician.
09:09You have to check with your state.
09:11In Colorado, a cosmetologist license would be necessary.
09:14Cosmetology, you could have an esthetician and cosmetology license in basically in one.
09:19You can practice aesthetics with a cosmetology license.
09:22So just check with your state about what the regulations are because if you invest in this
09:27and you're thinking, I don't need any other kind of licensure, that may be the case in
09:31your state, but it may require another licensure to provide this on other people as a business.
09:38Regardless, I'm happy to have this for my own needs and you know, I'm 50 now.
09:44I imagine I'm going to do plasma fibroblasting on myself a number of times.
09:49The areas that I'm going to focus on are upper lids, lower lids, which you guys, I'm really
09:53happy with my lower lids right now.
09:55So I may wait on that a little bit until I feel like I need it.
09:59Around my mouth, getting some tightening where you start to get some puckering and
10:04stuff around your mouth, creating some tightening there through the jaw line, getting a little
10:09bit more tightness there.
10:11So you can use this on wrinkles.
10:13If you have horizontal wrinkles, you know, you go on top and bottom of the wrinkle to
10:17contract that skin, tighten that skin.
10:19So there's just, there's just a ton of ways to use this pen and I'm excited to share those
10:24with you.
10:25So over the next probably week or so, I'm going to be filming and doing some treatments
10:31and rolling those out on my channel for you guys to check out.
10:35As soon as I have them edited, I'll upload them as soon as possible.
10:39I just wanted to share my excitement about the Plaxo Plus and the free certification.
10:44You know, I thought it was going to be really super time consuming and really super boring
10:49because a lot of science heavy stuff is, but it was super interesting, good material, easy
10:54to get through.
10:55And then basically at the end of that, you get a quiz, you take a little test, nothing
10:59major.
11:00It's not multiple choice.
11:01So you do have to know your, your information and you take the test, return it.
11:06There's a little bit of like, you have to do send in some video of your, or pictures
11:10of your, you know, basically your mapping.
11:13It's really quite simple.
11:14It does not take a long time at all in a day.
11:17You can crank it out if you're really focused or over a weekend or a couple of days, give
11:21yourself some time to study because that's important.
11:24Go back and review everything again.
11:26I find I digest the information when I'm getting certified in something.
11:30If I go through it once and then go through it a second time, highlight areas I find of
11:34particular importance that I think may be on a test.
11:37For me, that works.
11:38Everybody's different.
11:39You guys, I am a junkie for getting certified in stuff and taking education.
11:43Even if it doesn't come with a certification, it just feels so good.
11:48Somewhere along the line, I saw a quote, and you guys can correct me if this quote
11:51is wrong.
11:52If you're not growing, you're dying, something like that.
11:56And so, you know, I always feel like even if it isn't often, if periodically I take
12:01a course in something that I'm passionate about, it just makes me feel like I'm still,
12:05still got my feet into the pool of learning.
12:07And that feels for me, that's something that feels good.
12:11And they love my Plexo.
12:13So glad to hear that you guys, it's, it is different.
12:16It is not a cheap device.
12:18It definitely stands out apart from some of the lesser expensive devices.
12:23I can't speak more highly about it.
