00:00They won the league title when they hosted Chelsea in late April 2000
00:04So there was something of a carnival atmosphere for this meeting between two of the most attacking teams in the Premiership
00:10United's players were even afforded a guard of honour onto the pitch by the opposition
00:14Chelsea had crushed them 5-0 when the sides met in October at Stamford Bridge
00:19And were keen to produce another fine performance against the champions
00:22The Blues also had high hopes of finishing in the Champions League qualification places

00:31Who'd won the league title long before the end of the campaign
00:36There were presentations for Ferguson and Dwight York as manager and player of the month prior to kick-off
00:44Two changes to the United side who'd beaten Southampton, 3-1 away from home

25:20They did end their season on a high, though, by winning the FA Cup.
