PBBM underscores MSMEs’ role in improving PH economy

00:05medium enterprises, or MSMEs, at the 2024 Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs.

00:12Aside from recognizing MSMEs that have shown skills in business, as well as sustainability

00:18and ecological awareness, the president also underscored the significant role the sector

00:22plays for the country. Moreover, development partners such as LGUs and cooperatives also

00:28received awards due to their contribution and creation of programs that strengthen business

00:34environment.

00:36You can expect that this administration will continue to conduct activities like these

00:42to highlight the exemplars in this sector, with the hope of promoting their best practices

00:47throughout the country. Apart from this, the government, through the DTI, will continue

00:54to lead the MSME Development Council in formulating a comprehensive strategy that will foster

01:02dynamic industry ecosystems for our businesses.
