00:00Hello, everybody.
00:22Happy Wednesday.
00:23Today, in the studio, I have the legendary, the one and only, Breonna Banks.
00:31Hey, you guys.
00:33Hi, Breonna.
00:34Hi.
00:35It is so good to see you.
00:36Thank you.
00:37It's good to see you, too.
00:38It's been a while.
00:39It has been a while.
00:40So Breonna and I have known each other for a long time.
00:42My mother, Suze Randall, used to shoot so much content on her.
00:48And this was like really at the beginning of my career because I remember there was
00:52a shoot that I did of you, the beer wench shoot, and I was so excited about that shoot.
00:58We had such a cool set.
01:00And I remember that was kind of like, my mom was very picky about what she would let me
01:04shoot.
01:05She'd kind of hand give me stuff here and there.
01:07And a lot of times if there was a lot of set design or styling or something put into it,
01:12she wouldn't let me have it.
01:14She had to shoot it, you know what I mean?
01:16And I remember I was so excited because it was like a gift when my mom would give me
01:22these cool shoots that we put a lot of money and time into because I still knew I didn't
01:26know what I was doing and I had a lot to learn.
01:30But that shoot was kind of like one of those little gifts and I was like so excited.
01:35And I still love those photos so much.
01:37I know.
01:38Everyone loves them.
01:39I see them come up all the time on my Twitter feed.
01:41They're just like memories.
01:43I know.
01:44I actually had her sign a couple of those for my patron members, you guys, just so you
01:49know.
01:50If you want to sign up at patreon.com slash Holly Randall Unfiltered, you can get signed
01:53pictures from my lovely guests as well.
01:56As a beer wench.
01:57Yes.
01:58As a beer wench.
01:59You know, when I was, when I released the information on social media that you were
02:04going to be on, one guy mentioned, he brought up, ask her about the pony shoot with Mark
02:10Davis.
02:12Do you remember that?
02:13The pony shoot?
02:14Yeah.
02:15When we had you like in a bit?
02:16The whole like fetish?
02:18That was me and my, that was my best friend at the time and it's the only time she ever
02:22got in penthouse.
02:23I was actually more excited for her because I'd been in it a few times with my friend
02:28Lita Chase and Mark Davis.
02:30Yes.
02:31Absolutely.
02:32That was a crazy shoot.
02:33That was, I love like pony fetish stuff and I've honestly always wanted to recreate that
02:38because I haven't seen that in a long time.
02:42God, I can't even remember how long we were in makeup for to get our hair to do that.
02:47Was that Lee who did it?
02:48The hair and makeup?
02:49It was Lee.
02:50Yeah.
02:51Yeah.
02:52I think, I think it, we were probably two hours each in makeup, easy.
02:54Oh, easy.
02:55But it was amazing.
02:56It was so cool.
02:57It was gorgeous.
02:58Yeah.
02:59I really want to do a shoot like that again, actually.
03:02How was it like to shoot in?
03:03Do you remember like, were the bits super annoying?
03:06Oh, well, Suze never did anything that was comfortable, you know, so I'm sure that, yeah,
03:13that gag thing in my mouth wasn't really very comfortable.
03:16I don't even know how we went about shooting like blowjob and all that.
03:20You know, it's a, I can't remember if we had to take things out, put it back together.
03:25Probably.
03:26Yeah.
03:27But I mean, and the pictures, it looks effortless, effortlessly done, you know?
03:29Yeah.
03:30Well, and also too, back then, you know, you could spend eight hours doing a still set
03:35and you didn't really, I don't know if you guys shot video of that or not.
03:39I know that there, Suze has some of the BTS video.
03:44I've seen a couple of BTS, but nothing like video, video like we do now.
03:48Yeah.
03:49I think that was back in the day before we really kind of transitioned to shooting video.
03:52And even then, like stills were such a huge part of our income that like the video was
03:58kind of like an afterthought, you know, it was like, okay, we'll shoot some video.
04:01But really it was about the stills because, you know, magazines were such a big part of
04:06our revenue and God, it is so different now, man.
04:09I know.
04:10I really miss going to the magazine stands and seeing myself on a cover and like going
04:15and buying it.
04:16I know.
04:17You know, it's like, wow, those were like such a, such amazing, amazing time.
04:21I loved shooting magazines.
04:23I know.
04:24It's crazy.
04:25And it's like now, you know, it's all about the video and the stills are, you know, just
04:29kind of to accompany promoting the video.
04:33And you know, I'm still like, I mean, I direct video obviously and I enjoy it, but I'm still
04:37like, I feel like at my heart, I'm a photographer and I definitely miss those, you know, times
04:42where we really just focused on the pictures and spent like so much time.
04:46It was just, I don't know.
04:50I don't think you can really explain it.
04:51I'm glad that we both like have seen the transition, you know, me coming back, I was like, whoa,
04:57this is totally different.
04:58I know, right?
04:59Everything changed while I was gone.
05:01Yeah.
05:02So you, you were in, I was going to say like you were one of the few people who are in
05:06the industry who sought what it was, you know, you were a Vivid contract star, right?
05:11I started Gonzo for two years, then signed with Vivid for eight years.
05:16And then after that, I was kind of lost my way, you know, because I didn't know what
05:20to do without Vivid.
05:23And that's when I kind of dropped out for like five years and then popped back.
05:27Yeah, came back.
05:29So how was, I guess let's start at the beginning.
05:32How did you get into porn?
05:36I was 19.
05:38And you know, going way back, I got custody of my sister.
05:42I moved out when I was very young, like 14.
05:45I emancipated myself at 16.
05:48And I got full custody of my little sister at 18.
05:52So you know, I was trying to go to school, work and still take care of her.
05:56And I just couldn't make ends meet.
05:58So I answered an ad in the paper, nude modeling, make like $1,000 a day, I was like, you know,
06:04I think I can do that.
06:06I was on the cover of Teen Magazine.
06:08Were you really?
06:09Yeah.
06:10That was my first cover ever.
06:11It was Teen Magazine.
06:12Wow.
06:13So I drove.
06:14Someone's got to like try to dig that up.
06:15I want to see that.
06:16I know.
06:17I like, I drove and I got to, it was this, I got to the location and it was actually
06:24a porn set.
06:25There was, I'd never seen a porn set.
06:27And I pulled up and there was like, they were filming like three scenes at once.
06:31It was for Zane.
06:34And I'm like, holy, I'm like, I can't do that.
06:36I'd only been with like one guy.
06:39And so I drove away and then I drove back and then I drove away and I drove back and
06:43I was like, you know, if you don't do it, you and your sister are going to be out on
06:46your asses in three days.
06:47Like if you don't go through with this and make that money, you're going to be evicted.
06:51They're going to take your sister away.
06:52So I did it.
06:54And I was like a deer in headlights.
06:57It's the most embarrassing scene ever.
06:59And it was with Brandon, Brandon Iron.
07:01Oh wow.
07:02And I didn't even know penises came in different sizes.
07:06You know, like he pulled that thing out and I didn't even know what to do it that I was
07:10just licking it.
07:11And I was like, they're like, they're like blowing on it.
07:14Yeah.
07:15They're like, can you make noise or can you move?
07:17Like I literally just laid there and I looked like I was scared to death because I was,
07:22I was very shy and you know, I got the thousand dollars and then I was like, well, you know,
07:27that wasn't so bad.
07:29And I didn't tell my sister until like she kind of figured something was up, like maybe
07:34two weeks into it and I'm, you know, I'm like buying matching futons for a studio and I,
07:42you know, lied for a while about what I was, how I was getting it.
07:45And then I, you know, I was like, well, finally I had to come clean.
07:48I didn't have a choice because everybody found out so, so quickly.
07:52Oh really?
07:54Who found out first?
07:57My friends.
07:58I mean, I, I went under the name Mirage for, for two years, so I was like, nope, sparkles
08:03was taken.
08:04I tried that.
08:05Really?
08:06You were going to name yourself sparkles?
08:07I was, I was, but there was already a sparkles.
08:12Oh, that bitch.
08:13So yeah, I chose the name Mirage and um, I think, uh, the turning point was when my mom's
08:20boyfriend asked me to sign up a box, a VHS for him and I was mortified.
08:26I was like, that was the point where I was like, oh, I have to tell my mom now, you know?
08:31And then it was just like, uh, after that I was kind of like, you know what?
08:35Everybody knows what I'm doing.
08:36I'm just going to stop going by Mirage cause I hated the name anyway.
08:41And I got my boobs done and changed my name to Brianna Banks, which Brianna is my real
08:46name.
08:47So just when I just went for it.
08:49Yeah.
08:50So what was your, um, what was your, like, okay, so you said you did Gonzo for two years.
08:56Was there a point, was there one scene that kind of made you feel like, okay, this is
09:00actually something that I enjoy.
09:02This is something that I could see myself like making a career out of this.
09:06Um, you know, all my Mirage scenes, I think I really have such a huge fan base because
09:11they were all real.
09:12That was like my first time ever with the girls on camera, you know, or my first time
09:17with two guys or five guys, uh, you know, like everything was real for me.
09:26Um, and, uh, you know, I kind of grew up sexually on camera from like a naive little girl that
09:32had been with one guy for like four years to, you know, becoming a porn star and really
09:38finding like my sexuality and enjoying sex.
09:41Do you feel like that was a good way for you to explore your sexuality?
09:45Because you know, I've heard some girls say that, um, they've, you know, you're not the
09:48first girl who's told me they've kind of grown up sexually in porn.
09:51I know Asa Akira talked about that and Nicole Aniston talked about that.
09:56They felt that it was like kind of a safe space where they could try these things and
09:59they knew that, you know, they could, they would be taken care of and they could say
10:04no and they could, you know, pull away or like, did you, did you feel like it was a
10:08safe place for you to explore it or do you wish that you had done it in your private
10:12life first?
10:13Um, I guess both.
10:15I mean, I had some really bad experiences too coming into this industry, max hardcore,
10:20for example.
10:22You know, I got thrown that way and not knowing anything about what was going to happen to
10:26me and that messed me up for a while.
10:29But um, can you talk about that scene?
10:32Yeah.
10:33Um, I, he was very nice.
10:36He took me to, you know, go eat and you know, go get tested and then, um, all that good
10:44stuff.
10:45And you know, he really like tries to bond with you.
10:47It's kind of weird.
10:49stuff about yourself to him and you don't know he's going to use it against you.
10:54And um, so then, you know, a couple of days go by, I get my tests back, everything.
10:59And he brings me to his house and we take this elevator and like the whole like fourth
11:04or fifth story was all little girls clothes.
11:07I was a little bit thrown back right when I walked in.
11:10I was like, yellow couch.
11:11I was like, yeah, this is, this is not normal.
11:14And then he shaved me.
11:16He shaved my vagina area himself, himself, like not in the scene, not in the scene before
11:23we started the scene and, and like put my hair in pigtails and dressed me like I was
11:28like I was a little girl and I still didn't know what was about to happen to me.
11:33You know, I was just like, oh, this guy's kind of weird, you know, but I'm used to playing
11:37the little girl role.
11:39And you know, then the scene starts and he just turned into like somebody totally different.
11:45And, uh, you know, like I guess like two hours into it, you know, I mean, this is like
11:51straight anal, like he, this is a two hour scene, this, this scene went on for about
11:55six hours.
11:56Wait, he kept, the scene went on.
11:59Did you take breaks?
12:01No, no, he just kept, uh, everyone knows if they've watched Max hardcore stuff, he urinates
12:07on you.
12:08He pretty much uses everything that he learned about my sister on camera, my mother, like
12:15you're, I was crying to the point where I'm looking at the cameraman waiting for like
12:20somebody to stop it.
12:22But I'm like, you know, if I stop now, then, you know, I'm not going to get paid.
12:25Like all this stuff's going through my head.
12:27I'm like, how much longer can this really go on for?
12:30Yeah.
12:31And this is only two hours into it.
12:32Little did I know that, you know, he would continue to do this to me for like six hours
12:37to the point where, you know, I was just ready to like, I'd been puking, I was sick,
12:41but like the last thing he made me do was look into the camera and ask my mommy if she
12:47was proud of me.
12:48Oh my God.
12:49Yeah.
12:50And that was like out of everything that he made me do during that scene, disgusting stuff,
12:56that was the thing that hurt the most.
12:58Of course.
12:59Like I literally like bailed out of there.
13:02I didn't shower.
13:03I still had pissed on like a bra on and panties and I drove home and I was just a mess for
13:10like two weeks.
13:11My sister's like, what happened?
13:13You know?
13:14And I couldn't even tell her for at least two weeks, you know, what had just happened
13:18to me.
13:19Oh my God.
13:20But that was, that was when I got rid of that agent and just kind of went on my own because
13:26I couldn't believe that he sent me to a booking where that would, where he knew that was going
13:31to happen to me.
13:32Everybody knows the kind of content that Max produces and it's really insane.
13:37It's like, you know, I mean I'm all for like people doing, you know, stuff consensually
13:41and if you're into weird shit, whatever, you know, I don't want to kink shame you, but
13:45like his stuff was really like, I couldn't watch it.
13:48It was.
13:49And that's only the American version, you know, imagine like the real, the European
13:53version where they show everything.
13:55I've only ever seen the stuff that's posted here too.
13:58I remember watching a scene that he did with like Rebecca Linares and she cried afterwards
14:04and I was like, if, and that girl's like, I don't know if you remember Rebecca, but
14:08she was super hardcore.
14:09Yeah.
14:10And I was like, if you can make Rebecca cry, holy shit.
14:12You know what I mean?
14:13Like it, I mean, and you're just one of so many girls who's had that, that story about
14:18him.
14:19It's just like crazy.
14:20Do you see, you see him at the show sometimes, right?
14:22You know, he's like kind of popped back up.
14:24I know.
14:25I mean, I, I, every time I see him, I will never make eye contact.
14:29You know, um, when all this stuff came up about him drugging a certain girl in the industry
14:35and they wanted me to testify and I didn't even, you know, I'm like, unfortunately he
14:40didn't drug me.
14:41I can say that.
14:42I wish I had been drugged for that scene.
14:44Yeah.
14:45I'm like, I was completely sober.
14:46So, you know, I'm like, I don't really want to be involved, you know, I'm just gonna stay
14:51out of it.
14:52Right.
14:53Yeah.
14:54His stuff is real.
14:55I'm really, really sorry that you went through that.
14:58It's crazy because, you know, back then that was before like social media and all of that
15:03stuff.
15:04I mean, someone like him wouldn't really, I mean, I don't think he'd be able to, to
15:08survive now.
15:09No, I don't.
15:10You know, I heard he's shooting again, which I can't believe.
15:13I'm like, really?
15:14Yeah.
15:15I would have met, I, I, I don't know cause I haven't seen any stuff, but I wonder if
15:18he's kind of toned his, his stuff down a little bit because, you know, I mean now like girls
15:22can talk.
15:23Now, you know, you get treated like that by a director and a lot of girls will call you
15:28out.
15:29Yeah.
15:30Though, to be fair, sometimes they won't.
15:31I mean, there's still that, that whole concern about being labeled as a prima donna, other
15:37people want to work for you, not getting paid.
15:39I mean, this is something that comes up now a lot.
15:42Yeah.
15:43I mean, I did five, the five on one and that was better, easier than I'm the Max Hark,
15:49you know?
15:50I think I, I also got to pick my guys, you know, and they were very, I was very lucky.
15:55It wasn't like where they were trying to destroy me scenes, not something I would care to venture
16:01into at this point.
16:03Yeah.
16:04Yeah.
16:05But yeah.
16:06And there's a way to, you know, to make a scene look really intense and hardcore and
16:11it not actually be that kind of experience.
16:13Well, yeah.
16:14I mean, I like rough sex, but not when it's, you know, messing with my mind.
16:19Yeah.
16:20Like emotional abuse is really disturbing.
16:23Stuff like that.
16:24You know, like facial abuse does the same kind of thing.
16:26That kind of stuff.
16:27Like I really like make me sick because that's like, that's a whole other level and it's,
16:32and then it's not playing anymore.
16:33Yeah.
16:34It's not a fantasy anymore.
16:35No.
16:36When I'm like really crying.
16:37Yeah.
16:38Yeah.
16:39Oh my God.
16:40That's horrible.
16:41So can you tell us about some of your really wonderful scenes that your fans should go
16:45see on another, on a lighter note?
16:47On a lighter note.
16:48Oh God.
16:49I'm like, I have done so many scenes.
16:52I'm like once that's, I have, I, I just shot a movie for Jim Lane who I have known probably
16:59as long as you, um, my mom, my mom is, um, milf a maniac for, but I just love shooting
17:09for him.
17:10You know, cause I think I probably shot as many scenes for him as I had did for vivid
17:14over the eight years.
17:16So I'm trying to think of like the babe watch.
17:19I remember that was a really fun one.
17:21We were all on the beach dressed like, just like Baywatch and people were coming up asking
17:26us for autographs cause they thought we were Baywatch Baywatch is such a huge show outside
17:31of America.
17:32It's like, I mean, you know, um, who's the lead?
17:35Oh my God.
17:36Why?
17:37Pamela.
17:38No, no, no.
17:39The guy.
17:40Oh, Ernie helped me out.
17:42Tommy Lee.
17:43The star of Baywatch.
17:44David Hasselhoff.
17:45Wow.
17:46Wow.
17:47Ernie is not listening at all.
17:48He's like, Tommy Lee.
17:49Tommy Lee.
17:50I said, Pamela Anderson.
17:51He said, Tommy Lee.
17:52Well that makes, that was the star.
17:53Um, David Hasselhoff.
17:54Yeah.
17:55Like he's a huge in Germany.
17:56Like huge.
17:57I think I only knew that cause I'm from Germany.
17:58That's why David Hasselhoff.
17:59It's so funny.
18:00It's like those people like that show is enormous.
18:01It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like a, it's like a, it's like a, it's
18:02Yeah.
18:03Like everybody looked like that.
18:04Like, which is sort of true.
18:05Yeah.
18:06It was fun.
18:07I don't know.
18:08I, I, I loved it.
18:09I love, I, I, I loved it.
18:10I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
18:11I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
18:12I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
18:23I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
18:32I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
18:40I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
19:10last of like the golden age of the contract girls.
19:13Yeah, it's it's funny. I'm I was there for eight years. So I
19:16mean, I saw them come and go and I did like three reality shows
19:21through with vivid and the last one we did was last girl
19:23standing and I'm literally the last girl. I am like the last
19:28vivid girl, you know, but I, I really got along with most of
19:33the girls. There were a few that I didn't get along with. But
19:37they never they never really lasted. Yeah, the really
19:40standoffish ones, you know, didn't last long. So were there
19:43any ones in particular that like you really went to town with?
19:47Can you name them?
19:49Kira Kenner. I don't remember who that is. She. She didn't
19:53like me because she dated and I don't even want to say is my
19:57ex, my ex boyfriend. Yeah, she dated him before I did. And so
20:02she always had a thing for me. And it's like, whenever he
20:06dropped me off on set, she'd like walk around with their top
20:08off. And I'm just like, what is she doing?
20:11He's never seen tits before.
20:13I know. Exactly. So yeah, me and her, but it wasn't just me.
20:17I think our third reality show, they put us on a house with
20:20liquor. Oh, no. Yeah, all the vivid girls and booze. And we
20:26just went to town. I'd like we just verbally just asked her why
20:30she was such a fucking bitch. You know, I mean, all of us just
20:35finally like came out and just went after her and she started
20:38crying and actually like felt bad. But then I was like, it's
20:42not just me. Yeah. Every girl here is like, finally, like fed
20:47up with you. You know, she was just a nasty person.
20:50Yeah. Who are you closest to?
20:53Obviously, Jenna.
20:55You guys still friends?
20:56You know, we're friends on social media. I haven't seen her
21:00in quite a few years. I saw her at a red carpet event, maybe
21:04six years ago when I was still on my retirement. But she's doing
21:10great. So good for her.
21:12Yeah, she had a kid recently.
21:13Yeah.
21:13A little girl.
21:14Yeah, I just I've been following her and she looks incredible.
21:18She like lost all the weight and she still looks amazing.
21:21Yeah. Good for her. She's definitely changed some of her
21:25opinions about the world, but we don't need to go into that.
21:28Yeah.
21:32Now, you. So actually, you left porn for a while. Why? Where
21:38did you go?
21:42I just, I did. I tried to do a couple scenes for browsers. And
21:48I just, you know, it's kind of like in a midlife crisis. And
21:52you know, I was having to take a bunch of pills to get through
21:55those scenes. And browsers wasn't very happy about it. And
22:00I want I the last thing I did was a porn star punishment for
22:04browsers,
22:04which is a whole niche that they've pulled.
22:07It was Yeah, it was very brutal. And once again, should have done
22:12my research before I agreed to do it. I didn't, you know, I was
22:15like, if I've done max hardcore, what can
22:17right?
22:18Well, James Dean can be pretty mean, too. And after that scene,
22:23I was just, you know, that was kind of it for me. That was I
22:26was like, I don't I'm not enjoying this anymore. I'm doing
22:30it for the money. And I just got humiliated on film. And you
22:35know, I just said, I'm done. And I just walked away. I completely
22:39just left. I quit. You know, back then it was Facebook, not
22:43Facebook, Myspace. So I mean, once I disappeared, I went to
22:49like school to become a personal trainer, I had my implants taken
22:52out, I dyed my hair brown, like I'd never wanted to hear the
22:55name Brianna Banks again, like I was just, I was done. You know,
22:59I wanted to be remembered as like, the vivid legend and not
23:03that porn star punishment scene.
23:05Yeah, I hear you. So were you pretty good at like, assimilating
23:10back into society? Did people not recognize you? Were you able
23:12to really like restart your life again?
23:14No.
23:17You know, I mean, you can never walk away from 15 years of porn
23:22and think that no one's gonna recognize you because you went
23:25down to a B cup and dyed your hair brown. It was kind of
23:29ridiculous on my part. But, you know, I tried I you know, but I
23:34was living in like Agora and dating another amazing guy. And,
23:41yeah, I ended up, you know, moving away from Agora because
23:45a very small town and everybody knew who I was. It was like, I'm
23:49so tired of hearing, you know, oh, you know, I was already I
23:52was just known as the porn star. And it's like, I haven't done
23:55porn in like four years. And I'm still known as the porn star.
23:58And
23:59yeah, it's really hard. It's something that like, you really
24:02can't escape, especially nowadays with the internet. You
24:04know, it's like, once you're in, you're in, man. And it's the
24:07stigma is real. Yeah, it's really brutal.
24:10Yeah. And so, you know, I just, I decided, you know, as I was
24:15like, I'm just gonna make one more whirl at this, you know,
24:18it's like, I was like, I liked being Brianna Banks at one
24:21point. And I'm like, if I like go back with my head right, and
24:25I'm like a different person than when I left, you know, make
24:28smart choices and decisions that maybe I can, you know, like
24:34being Brianna Banks again. So that's what I did.
24:37Okay. We're gonna take a quick break. But then when we come
24:40back, I want to talk about like that whole journey from coming
24:44back to porn because I know there's a lot that you went

25:49Alright, so we're back. So Brianna, I know that you went
25:52through a lot. And you were dating Bobby Vitale. And I think
25:59you kind of went down a dark hole. Yes. How can you tell us a
26:04little bit about that?
26:06Um, I met Bobby when I was right before I signed my contract with
26:14vivid. So I was 2021. I just got the cover of penthouse, I would
26:21just got the cover of avn. And, you know, was about to sign my
26:26deal with vivid. And I met Bobby, I had worked with them
26:30twice. But you know, outside of that, I didn't really know
26:33anything about him. And then he approached me at avn at the
26:38award show. And, you know, we ended up dating, he drove me home
26:46from avn. And at that time, he was sober, I didn't really know
26:50anything about him that he had a past of drug abuse, you know, he
26:54was 14 years older than me. So I was still pretty naive at 21. And
27:01I fell pretty hard for him. And then he relapsed. And his drug of
27:08choice was crack. And unfortunately, you know, I'm also
27:13have very addictive personality. I've been to rehab a few times.
27:17And yeah, yeah. And I got wrapped up right in it with them.
27:24And I mean, the stuff we did, it was just insane. I I OD so many
27:30times and got down to like 98 pounds. And still, you didn't
27:35think anyone was catching on, you know, yeah, vivid called me
27:39in and said, you know, we can't shoot you until you put weight
27:42on you're too skinny to shoot your mom. She pulled me aside
27:47and actually watched me eat like she she forced was force feeding
27:51me. And it was it was just a really dark time. And that was
27:54only one year of my life that I did that drug for. But that one
27:59year, like ruined so much of my life. Yeah, you know, my
28:04reputation. I, I, I didn't you drive a car into Bobby and pin
28:12him to a wall. I knew this is gonna come up. And I, to this
28:16day, I will stand by the fact that I did not do it on purpose.
28:20Because, you know, Bobby was very abusive to me. And I think
28:24a lot of people don't know how bad he used to beat me, but he
28:28broke my jaw, he cut off my finger with a knife. Wait, what?
28:32Yeah, this finger, which one? I see it. Yeah, he cut it off with
28:38the knife. Notice it doesn't bend. He cut it all the way I
28:43was about to go on stage to dance. We were at a club in
28:46Akron, Ohio. And I was doing my makeup and he no re I had an
28:52engagement ring on and he just took a knife like I had next to
28:56me to like cut up my fishnets before I went on stage because I
28:59would do this whole theatrical pulling of the fishnets off. And
29:03he just picked it up and cut my finger off. And I was like in
29:06complete fucking shock. And I didn't feel the pain. I just I
29:12all I just said, you know, like my bodyguard who just walked
29:16away because I had a bodyguard with me. And I duct taped my
29:19fingers so that it you know, was still on and put on my gloves
29:23and I went on stage. I was in that much shock that I didn't
29:26really realize what he did, what had just happened. Until
29:29like the second song, I started seeing blood all over the stage,
29:33dripping down my arms, and then I passed out. And I woke up in
29:38the emergency room. And you know, they had to like, so
29:41everything back together. And yeah, it was he did some awful
29:46stuff to me break breaking my jaw when I was on on tour also
29:50throwing me across the room. And so that's why people think I hit
29:55him on purpose. But I actually pulled into my garage and he was
30:00in the garage in the dark smoking crack and it scared the
30:04shit out of me. I didn't wasn't expecting someone to be in my
30:07garage. And I hit the gas pedal and I smashed him in between my
30:12car and the wall. And I broke his pelvis, broke his legs. God
30:20and it was awful. And I the reason like if he knew if he
30:25thought for one second that I did that on purpose, I wouldn't
30:28be alive today because the shit he did to me after because of
30:31course he was pissed. He knows it was an accident. But I mean,
30:34I would wake up to him pulling me out of bed by my hair and
30:37pissing on me out of his, his bladder bag. And I still stayed
30:42with them because I felt so guilty about hitting him with my
30:45car like I he had to learn how to walk again. And he continued
30:50to do drugs. And at this point, I had stopped doing drugs. I
30:53was I was done, you know, and I just I called his mom. I'm like,
30:58you know, I can't he can't be here anymore. You know, he's
31:01gonna kill me. I'm gonna wake up one day and he's gonna have
31:04killed, you know, I'm not gonna be here anymore. So he ended up
31:09getting like 100,000 for my insurance. And I personally paid
31:13out of pocket 20 grand for surgeries for him to get
31:17everything working again. And, you know, that that was the end
31:22of Bobby Vitale his career, he tried to make a comeback, I
31:25believe at one point, and when I heard his name, I was just like,
31:29he's no one's ever gonna work with him because he was very
31:32aggressive on the girls. Also, he he had a very bad reputation
31:36when he left for beating up the girls during scenes, I was like
31:40the only one that would still do scenes with them. And it wasn't
31:43really by choice. It was more by otherwise I was supporting him.
31:47Yeah, I remember he was like a favorite of my mom's. But I
31:50think that's before he relapsed. Yeah, when he he, he was bad.
31:55Man, I'm so sorry. Yeah. So what did you do after? How'd you see
32:00you finally left him? I assume?
32:02Yeah, I left I left them. And I had drug dealers still showing
32:06up at my door because he owed so much money to everyone. I just
32:10had to move I had to move, you know, and because my sister was
32:15living living in the house with me. So I just, you know, moved
32:19and, you know, just started my life again, it was kind of like,
32:22and all over Wikipedia, everyone thinks I was married to Bob
32:26Vitale. I'm like, to get the record straight, we were never
32:29married, ever married. You were engaged, we were engaged, but I
32:34don't even think I knew what the word engaged really meant. You
32:37know, it's like, it was nothing that me and him ever sat down
32:40and actually talked about. I think it was just a pretty ring
32:42to me. You know, it's like, I, I hadn't loved him for a long
32:46time. I mean, how can you love somebody that beats you like
32:49that?
32:50Yeah. Why do you think you stayed?
32:52I, I don't know, it's kind of like first, he like, he was a
32:59nice guy when I met him. And I guess I just held on to that for
33:02so long that he would stop doing drugs. And he'd go back to being
33:06the person that I fell for. But that person was gone a long time
33:11before I left him.
33:12Right? Yeah, no, that makes sense. Does he try to contact
33:15you at all anymore?
33:17No, I had a, but God, I haven't seen him in so long. The last
33:23time I saw him, he looked like a little old man. I didn't even
33:26recognize him. And I was like, that's the person that I was
33:29with for five years. It like really tripped me out.
33:31It's crazy looking back, right?
33:33Yeah. Well, now he's 14 years older than me. So you know, that
33:37puts him in this fit in his 50s.
33:39Yeah.
33:39So I met him when he was like, closer to what I the age I am
33:43right now. So
33:45So you left him and then what did you were you still
33:47performing after you left him?
33:49Oh, yeah. I continued. If I hadn't left him, I probably I
33:54would be dead. So I continued with vivid and things actually
33:57got, you know, a lot better for me. Once I left him, I just
34:00focused on my career. And I was touring constantly dancing, you
34:05know, and you know, my sister stayed with me throughout all
34:09this time until just a couple years ago.
34:12Wow. It's I mean, it's really great that you had family at
34:15least one family member to be next, you know, beside you
34:18through all that, because I know that there's a lot of girls who
34:21get into their porn and their family like completely disowns
34:24them. And then they they go through rough patches, like we
34:26kind of all do and they don't have somebody there to support
34:29them. So that's, that's really great that you had that. And
34:33then you said you went to rehab.
34:36So once I got out, I, you know, started drinking a lot, like, my
34:44mother was an as is an alcoholic. So I kind of thought
34:48as long as I never drank that I was okay, I could do every other
34:52drug and that wouldn't make me my mother. So, you know, I
34:56dabbled into the pills and you know, all that good stuff. And I
35:01ended up going finally to rehab and my sister too, because we
35:05were living together. We were like the first sister group that
35:08had ever gone to this rehab. But I was like, you know, we live
35:12together. And if we both don't get sober, then we can't that
35:15there's no point in me coming by myself,
35:18right? It's hard. It's so hard when you get stuck into that
35:20cycle, you know, and, and waking up every morning and thinking
35:24like, today's the day I'm gonna stop and like having that
35:27conversation with yourself every day and like not being able to
35:30get out of it. It's just like, it's the, it's like the darkest
35:33place that you can be. You can just feel so alone.
35:37Yeah, very alone. And I ended up going three times.
35:42That's all right. I went twice. And then I went to sober. I went
35:45to rehab twice, sober living twice. So like, yeah, I feel
35:49you, girl. I'm a repeat customer myself.
35:52I'm like the only person that can get addicted to going to
35:55rehab.
35:56Well, I mean, to be fair, it is like, you know, the one place
36:00that you get to go that you only focus on yourself and you don't
36:03have all these external outside influences, people like trying
36:06to get your attention and like work and all that stuff. And,
36:09and then, you know, once you're, I mean, once you take away the
36:12alcohol and the drugs, and you're left with just yourself,
36:14then you're like, wow, this is where the work really begins.
36:17Well, and it was an all women's, you know, facility. So I'd
36:20never, it kind of felt like a family to me. It was like
36:23something I had never experienced.
36:25Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's like the power of, you know,
36:30these sobriety support groups is, is, is that it's, it's
36:34addiction just makes you isolate, makes you feel so
36:38incredibly alone. And, and I don't know about you, but I know
36:41like, when I was, you know, like, in my heaviest drinking
36:44periods, I really felt like there was nobody else out there
36:47that drank the way I did. Yeah, that nobody else was like, you
36:51know, and it was the shame and the self loathing and the self
36:54hatred was just overwhelming. And so going to rehab, when I
36:58learned about what alcoholism was, and I learned about the way
37:02that our brains work, it was like such kind of a relief. I was
37:05like, this is what's wrong with me, because for the longest time
37:08I couldn't figure out what's wrong with me. Right? Because
37:10it's like, on the surface, I had everything. Yeah, family, I did
37:12like a great career and all this stuff, but I kept just throwing
37:15it away. And like, and I just couldn't come and I wanted to
37:19stop, right? And I always thought it was a willpower
37:21thing. It was like, well, I really wanted it more than
37:24anything, but I couldn't do it. It was just baffling. And it's
37:27just something that's like, impossible to explain to people
37:30who haven't been through it.
37:32Yeah, it's, for me, it was like every other drug, I quit, like
37:37cold turkey never went back. But with the alcohol, it was just
37:40like, I just couldn't. Yeah, I just couldn't kick it. Yeah. You
37:45know, I hear you. And I unfortunately got into another
37:49relationship. But um, this individual, I don't want to say
37:52his name. But um, we were together pretty much the entire
37:56time I was out of the industry. And he never laid a hand on me,
38:00but verbally torn me to fucking pieces.
38:04And sometimes that can be worse.
38:05Yeah, well, I didn't recognize I didn't see what he was doing,
38:09because I was used to getting punched. So you know, I didn't
38:13see how bad he was putting me down all the time calling me
38:16washed up. Then I started putting on weight from you know,
38:19all the alcohol and and then he started calling me fat. And, you
38:23know, it was one thing after another until it was like, I
38:26couldn't take it anymore. You know, it was like, I keep taking
38:29pills and stuff and drinking because of the way he treated me.
38:33But, um, you know, it was like, I kept going back to him. And
38:36you know, I'd be sober and he drink right in front of me. It
38:39was like, he didn't give a flying fuck, you know? Yeah. So
38:43I had to leave that situation and lose 70 pounds before I got
38:48back in porn.
38:48Wow. Yeah. So where so where are you at now in your life?
38:52You know, I'm, I'm in a pretty happy place right now. I was
39:00gone for 10 months, I got really depressed. About I've been back
39:10like three months, it's like I did a comeback. And then I kind
39:13of went MIA after winning like my second Hall of Fame and best
39:17comeback and everything was great. And then I got
39:20depression. And I don't know, you can't explain depression
39:24because unless somebody's had it, but I literally just didn't
39:27want to get out of bed. I was so fucking sad. And I stopped
39:31going on social media. You know, and I just, I don't know, I
39:35almost threw away my entire comeback. Like, I was on
39:39antidepressants, antipsychotics. And that made me even worse.
39:43Yeah, I was just so loopy. And I've been shooting now about
39:49three months back from being under, you know, really bad
39:52depression. My fans know because they were trying to contact me
39:56the entire time they never stopped, you know, sending
39:59messages and trying to call me the ones that add my number. And
40:02I just wouldn't even look at my phone anymore became like an
40:05enemy to me. It's kind of weird. Yeah, people trying to break
40:08into that, like wall that you're trying to build up around
40:10yourself. I just didn't know what to say. Yeah, I didn't know
40:13what was wrong with me. Everyone's like, Are you okay?
40:15And I'm like, I don't I don't know. I don't I don't know
40:18what's happening to me. Yeah, I'm just fucking sad. Yeah.
40:21Now, does the depression kind of lift on its own? Or did you
40:24take like active measures to to combat it that you feel have
40:27worked?
40:28Um, I was, I moved out of the place I was at. And I just have
40:35been forcing myself every day to get up. I've been really, you
40:39know, going to the gym, not hanging around negative
40:42influences. And I just, you know, suddenly, I just kind of
40:47felt better. I don't know how to explain it. But it definitely
40:50wasn't the medication that made me feel better. Yeah, because
40:53that made me feel really, really worse. Yeah, it's really it's
40:56hard. I went through like a big depression last year, like last
41:00year, at the beginning of last year, my business like tanked,
41:03like all this stuff happened at the same time. And I went
41:07through a really bad depression. And I was actually just thinking
41:10about it the other day. And I would write stuff on social
41:13media, you know, I'd be like, just so you guys know, like,
41:16I'm having a really hard time right now. Like, I don't, I'm
41:20not happy. I don't know where my places in the industry, you
41:23know, like a lot of like, I had a couple clients had dropped me.
41:27And I'm like, I don't have like a direction. Like, where am I
41:30gonna go if I don't work in porn? Like, what the fuck am I
41:32gonna do with my life? Right? You know, this is all this has
41:35been my whole life. I've been in it for 20 years. And I really
41:39felt like rudderless. And, and I was super depressed. And I felt
41:44really alone. And like, my fans were so amazing. Like this, you
41:51know, sometimes they say like, social media can be a really
41:53toxic place. And it can be but it can also be like an amazing
41:57support group. You know, I mean, people were so kind to me and
41:59said, the most wonderful things and it made like a big
42:02difference for me. And yeah, same kind of thing as you like I
42:06refuse to go on medication. I saw a therapist a lot. I went to
42:11more meetings. I started like, I mean, I always have worked out
42:15but I really made sure that I stuck with that. I started
42:17doing meditation. I actually did Reiki healing, which was
42:20something that I always thought was a little bit like, woo and
42:23wizardy. But I hired this woman I did Reiki healing with her
42:27like once a week for like a month and and did sound bath
42:31meditations and that all helped a lot. And I think just the
42:34accumulation of just actively trying different things to like
42:38change my mind really helped. And you know, I'm not like
42:41perfect. I definitely have my days when I wake up and I'm
42:43like, I don't want to work today. Like I don't want to like
42:47adult today. I just kind of wish like I wish everything was
42:51easier and like things still give me anxiety. But it's like,
42:54yeah, it's a daily reprieve, man. It's a battle.
42:58Yeah. I mean, I sometimes I wake up and I and I get scared
43:01because I feel that feeling in my chest and I never want to go
43:04back to that low, the lowest I was during that depression.
43:08Yes. Because it was so bad. Yeah. I mean, I didn't even want
43:11to get out of bed. Yeah. For days at a time. Yeah. And when I
43:16feel like that, you know, sometimes now I will pick up my
43:19phone and look at my social media. And you know, my fans are
43:23just so supportive because it was really embarrassing and hard
43:27to get back on social media after just MIA for like 10
43:30months. Yeah. I'm like, just, hey, like, here's my first tweet
43:34in like 10 months. Yeah. And it's like, you know, I want to
43:36appear professional, right? You don't want to like, you know,
43:40you're supposed to, you know, it's supposed to be a place
43:42where your professional persona comes forward. And everything's
43:45perfect. And everything's great. And I'm so I love my job. And
43:48everything's amazing. And I'm like, Oh, I bet everyone thinks
43:52I went off the rails. And I'm like, was on a drug bender. And
43:55I was like, No, you know, I literally was in bed. You know,
44:01it was embarrassing. But at the same time, I wanted to clear the
44:05air. I wanted, you know, my fans to kind of know what what
44:08happened to me why I disappeared on everyone. Yeah.
44:12Well, I think, you know, people, I mean, everybody goes through
44:15those, those dark pints. And I think that people are more open
44:19about talking about mental health issues now. And I think
44:23it's, I think it's a good thing. You know, I think it's, it's
44:25super relatable. I mean, we all go through that. And I can 100%
44:30relate to what you've been through. Yeah. So is there
44:33anything that like, you're kind of actively doing now? I mean,
44:37exercise helps a lot, huh?
44:39It really does. For me, I'm I try to do like, you know, two,
44:43two to three hours, like a day.
44:46Okay, girl, you're way past me. I'm like an hour. And I'm like,
44:49Okay, I'm done. But like the endorphins, like if I honestly
44:52work out now, not even for like, trying to stay in shape, but to
44:58keep my mind from going mental.
45:00Yeah, like when I have like my, my, my headphones on and I'm
45:03listening to my music, like nothing else is going through my
45:07mind. You know, it's like, I feel so clear. And so I that's
45:11why I really like get into the working out. And I don't want to
45:15lose any more weight. It's not like I'm doing it because I want
45:17to lose weight. Yeah, I'm like, I've lost enough weight. Yeah.
45:21But yeah, I just do it as like a like us like, like therapy for
45:25me. It really is.
45:26Right, right. What are some of the biggest differences that you
45:29see now in the industry from when you started?
45:33MILF.
45:35Oh, yeah. Yeah, that didn't exist before.
45:38There was no that MILF, there was no MILF when I left. And when
45:41I came back, it was like anyone over like 30 is a MILF. And I'm
45:45sometimes even over the age of like, 26. I mean, I've shot
45:49girls that were 25 as MILFs.
45:52Yeah, it's crazy. At first, I was like, Oh, I don't, you know,
45:55I don't, I'm not I'm not liking this everything. MILF, MILF,
45:58MILF. Now, it's like, I always laugh like on my Instagram or my
46:04Twitter. People can't just write beautiful. They have to write
46:07beautiful MILF. Yeah. You know, and I'm like, I always want to
46:11be like, why can't you just put beautiful? The word MILF have to
46:14be put after everything. But it's just the way things are.
46:17You know? Yeah, I've never had a child. But I mean, I raised my
46:21sister. So I'm my mom, my fiance model, I'd like to fuck instead
46:26of mom.
46:27Yeah. Yeah, I know. Right? Yeah, it's become like one of those
46:30like searchable terms that you know, you're either a teen or
46:33you're a MILF. And it's, it is frustrating to be pigeonholed
46:36that way, for sure.
46:37Yeah, I'm glad that I did get to experience the era though, where
46:41there was just glam.
46:42Yeah, you know, you were just a hot girl, a hot girl with a hot
46:46guy. Yeah, that doesn't exist anymore.
46:48Yeah. If you could give advice to any new girls coming into the
46:54industry, considering like everything that you've been
46:56through, what what would you tell them?
47:01Save your money. You know, this, this industry, they literally
47:07will eat you alive if you don't know what you're doing. And, you
47:11know, I, I've been in it for 20 years, too. And it's crazy when
47:15I think about it. Because, you know, not many girls are in it
47:18for what, maybe three or four years now. So yeah, just save
47:23your money and make smart decisions, you know.
47:27Treat it like a career, not just like a kind of come and go.
47:29But I mean, it's, you're a different person when you're,
47:32it's easy for me to say this now. But when I was 19 years
47:35old, you know, it's like a big party. Yeah. Yeah, you're still
47:39a, you're still a child.
47:41Yeah. Do you think that maybe, you know, there's been some talk
47:43about raising the minimum age of girls coming into the industry
47:46from 18 to 21? What do you think about that?
47:49I mean, that's a hard one, because that's like a prime age.
47:54But I think if you have to be 21 to drink, you should maybe have
47:58to be 21 to do porn, because you don't really know what you're
48:02agreeing to. You don't realize it's a lifelong commitment.
48:05Yeah, you're forever going to be that person.
48:08Yeah, I agree with you. But then also, too, you can sign up and
48:11go to war at 18. Yeah, that's where it's tough.
48:14That is. Yeah.
48:15It's like, if you can die for your country at 18, like you
48:19should be able to do porn. But I hear you like on that. But then
48:22also to like, I do know some, you know, 19 year old girls who
48:26are more emotionally mature than some 30 year old girls. And then
48:30also to it is a it is a way for some people to get themselves
48:34out of bad situations.
48:36Yeah, it got me out of a bad situation. Had I not met certain
48:40people and made certain decisions in my life, I would
48:43have my life would have turned out totally different. But I
48:47have learned through lots of therapy that you can't say if,
48:52if, if because you will, that's when you start picking up that
48:56bottle and chugging because regret will regrets like such a
49:00terrible thing. Yeah, I can't I've learned not to regret
49:03stuff that I've done because you can't change it. Right, right.
49:06Just have to move forward.
49:07Do you still go to therapy? Mm hmm. Yeah, I love my therapist.
49:11She's amazing. It's something that, you know, it used to
49:14always be kind of like this, the shameful thing to go and seek
49:18help. But I honestly think it's good for everybody. Even if
49:21like, you're not depressed, you're going through like a
49:23really hard time. It's just really nice to have, like a
49:25professional to kind of bounce things off of and listen to
49:29talk. Yeah, yeah, I think it's definitely a good thing.
49:33Yeah, because I'm like, not everyone wants to listen to talk
49:36about your problems all the time.
49:38Right? I know. Sometimes I'll be sitting with a therapist. I'm
49:41like, aren't you so sick of hearing this shit? Like, I just
49:45sometimes I just feel like I would hate to be a therapist
49:47because God, we're annoying.
49:50No, I'm really I'm happy, though. I'm can seriously say
49:55like, today I was like, so, you know, stoked to come on the show
49:59and I'm like, things are, you know, going well again. Yeah. So
50:02I'm really excited.
50:04Do you think you kind of appreciate that more now
50:07considering like the hard times that you've been through? Like,
50:09because I feel that I'm like, when I'm in a good mood, I'm
50:13more grateful for what's going on in my life than I was before
50:18because I know how bad things can be.
50:20Absolutely. And especially just, you know, I haven't having the
50:24depression that I just got out of, you know, everything was
50:28going great. So it's, I'm very appreciative every morning when
50:32I wake up and I like, you know, take a deep breath, go get a
50:36cup of coffee. And it's like, oh, you know, everything's okay.
50:40Like, there's no reason to be sad. Everything's great. Yeah,
50:44no, you have no reason to complain.
50:47Yeah. Do you like do you like the industry now that like, you
50:52have more control over your image and your career and that
50:55you're able to have your only fans and that kind of stuff? Or
50:58do you kind of wish it was back the way it was in the day when
51:01you were like a contract girl, and you just were given work,
51:05but you didn't really get to make a lot of personal
51:07decisions?
51:08Um, you know, it's just totally different. Where I really see
51:12it, it's changed the most is like the conventions, because
51:15when I was a bit of a girl, you got paid to be there. You had
51:19your makeup paid for people stood in line for hours with
51:22stuff they owned of yours, for you to sign and now you go and
51:26you're just trying to sell anything to you know, and you're
51:29selling so I couldn't believe the first time I sat to sell a
51:33selfie with somebody because it's like, you know, I'm like,
51:37I won't charge $20 for selfie ever. But if I don't charge
51:41anything, they'll just all day want to take pictures with you.
51:44Yeah. So basically, this is an expensive place to be. Yeah,
51:48exactly.
51:49The hotel rooms are very expensive.
51:50Yeah. So I definitely say the conventions are absolutely
51:57different. And just the way the fans can can't interact with
52:00you as much anymore at the conventions, and they really
52:03don't want to, I guess, because they can get to you on any way
52:05on social media.
52:06Yeah, yeah, that's true.
52:08They won't wait in line for hours anymore to meet you.
52:11I never thought about that. But that's true. Brianna, thank you
52:15so much for coming. And thank you for opening up the way you
52:18did. I know you talked about some really hard things. But I
52:21appreciate it. And I was I was very moved. And I think your
52:25fans will be too.
52:27I love my fans so much. And you know, I'm really happy to be
52:31back and shooting again. And yeah,
52:34happy to have you back. Thank you. Can you tell everybody
52:37where they can find you on social media, your OnlyFans, all
52:40that kind of stuff?
52:41Absolutely. OnlyFans, Brianna Banks, it's pretty simple. I'm
52:46on Sex Panther, Brianna Banks, FanCentro, Brianna Banks,
52:51BriannaBanks.XXX. And you can find me on OC Modeling's
52:57website.
52:59Pretty much narrows it down.
53:01All right.
53:02Oh, and on my Twitter, Brianna BanksXXX1. Well, I got hacked.
53:08And then my Instagram, BriannaBanks6.
53:11I was gonna say, yeah, you have an Instagram too, right?
53:13Yes. But I got hacked. So I've kind of started over. But it's
53:19a, it seriously is. But you know, it's not it's a Instagram
53:23doesn't make you money. It's I feel like a popularity contest
53:26at times. But yeah, it's still fun. I like doing Instagram.
53:30Yeah.
53:32Well, thank you again. And you guys can follow me at Holly
