Our reporter Michael Plant gives the latest state of of play with Manchester City's summer transfer window.
Transcript
00:00Now it has been a very quiet start to the window for the Premier League champions.
00:04That's not really a surprise for a number of reasons.
00:07I think the big one being that City don't actually need a huge amount of improvement in their squad.
00:12I think Pac Guardiola prefers to work with a small squad as well.
00:15And I think in reality it's probably going to take a few big outgoings before City make too many major additions.
00:21I think the ongoing championships, the Euros and the Copa America have been a factor in that as well.
00:26I think the eyes of the footballing world are on those international tournaments.
00:29And I think as well if there's a slow start from other clubs as well it has a bit of a knock-on effect.
00:34But I do think it will pick up as we get into the latter stages of the window.
00:39I'm expecting Savio to come in at Manchester City.
00:42Bruno Guimaraes is still a player that City are interested in as well.
00:46And I think they'll potentially be looking to bring in a little bit of backup for Rodri,
00:51a player who played so much last season at the base of midfield.
00:55In terms of outgoings, I think we can expect the likes of Calvin Phillips and Gian Pancello to move on.
00:59Two players who spent last season on loan.
01:02Obviously you've got Sergio Gomez as a player who's been linked with an exit.
01:05And there's been plenty of other big name players from Manchester City who've been linked with exits.
01:09The likes of Ederson, Kevin O'Brien and Bernardo Silva.
01:12I think Kevin O'Brien will stay and I'm expecting him to at this stage.
01:15Silva, Ederson, less sure of.
01:17But there'll be plenty of news as I'm sure coming over the next few weeks.
01:20But I'm Michael Plant at Manchester World.
