00:00All right, Columbia, Uruguay, let's get to that matchup here.
00:06You know, another one where at least the odds are telling us it's pretty much even.
00:10This one is Wednesday, 8 o'clock Eastern at Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.
00:16I see Columbia on FanDuel plus 185, I see Uruguay plus 185.
00:21Here in the States, we're very familiar at this point with Uruguay.
00:25Is there a chance Uruguay can pull this off?
00:28Because again, I mean, if I'm looking just at the odds, it tells me flip your coin.
00:32Yes, if this is an absolute coin flip this game, but I'm going to kind of switch what
00:39I was saying on this show last week, which was I think Uruguay have the best chance to
00:43take down Argentina and Messi.
00:45I no longer think that.
00:46I was really, really disappointed with Uruguay's performance against Brazil.
00:50I think Uruguay have really, really good players.
00:54In fact, I think Uruguay right now are better than Brazil and they could have taken the
00:58game to Brazil and won that game two or three to nil.
01:01I really believe that.
01:03Marcelo Bielsa instead came into that game and said, we're the worst team, we're going
01:08to play hack of Brazil and just foul the crap out of you and not let you play.
01:13And they played four scoreless draw and one on penalties.
01:15I just was so disappointed by that approach because I really think Uruguay could have
01:20won that game emphatically and they didn't even try to do that.
01:25They fouled Brazil 26 times.
01:27It was an awful, awful game to watch.
01:31And I'm so dismayed by that.
01:33And I've been so impressed by how Colombia played.
01:35They're on a 27 game unbeaten streak that dates back all the way to early 2022.
01:40They missed the 2022 World Cup and have been literally unbeatable since then.
01:44They've just turned it around completely.
01:47And I'm so impressed by what Colombia have done.
01:49Tomás Rodríguez has five assists this tournament, far and away the leader at the Copa.
01:54So I've just been so impressed by Colombia and what they've been able to do.
01:57I don't think they'll be cut down the way Brazil were if Uruguay come into this game
02:03looking to foul them out off the field.
