00:00The day after and Sunday's results are still leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of National
00:04Rally supporters. In the far-right party's stronghold of Aynan Bournemont, voters had
00:10prepared themselves to see Jordan Bardella become prime minister.
00:14I'm so disappointed, so disappointed. Macron in second place, the National Rally in third.
00:21It doesn't make any sense at all, because the left all came together. It's not fair.
00:27Will it be our turn next? Will it change something? We don't know what's going to happen. That's
00:31what we're worried about.
00:33The National Rally's third place showing has sparked pure disappointment among supporters
00:38here. Just a week before, they had been celebrating their lead in polls and the re-election of
00:42leader Marine Le Pen as deputy of the town. In this cafe, Sunday's results are all everyone's
00:48really...
00:49We have no idea where we are going now. What's their programme? Social pledges? Stop. Stop.
00:58Social pledges and immigration?
00:59Other supporters have been left completely disillusioned. They feel their voices aren't
01:03being heard. Some say they followed the results from afar.
01:07I didn't watch because I knew it would end up badly. There's no point in voting now.
01:13Whether we vote or not changes nothing.
01:16Local party members are trying to stay positive. They're celebrating the seats the National
01:20Rally were able to win, but feel the campaign in the run-up to the vote wasn't always up
01:25to scratch.
01:26What went wrong in between the two rounds is that several candidates weren't really
01:31ready and several of them were poor choices and shouldn't have run.
01:39Here in the Bad Galley region, the party secured record gains. The National Rally took 10 out
01:45of the 12 constituencies here.
