00:00You know, there's three things, people.
00:04The economy nationwide is great.
00:06Economy internationally is great.
00:07We're the strongest economy in the world.
00:09We're leading the world.
00:10But ordinary folks like where I come from in Claymont, Delaware, and Scranton, the three-bedroom
00:16split of a home I grew up in, we weren't poor, but it was always a struggle.
00:19My dad used to say, a job's about a lot more than a paycheck, Joey.
00:23It's about your dignity.
00:24It's about respect.
00:25It's about being able to look your kid in the eye and say, it's going to be okay.
00:29Everybody deserves a shot.
00:31And by the way, we're making progress.
00:34Inflation's down.
00:35We're moving.
00:36But here's some ordinary people, and I'm curious what you're hearing when you knock on those
00:39doors.
00:40They're saying, look, grocery prices are too high.
00:44I just can't afford it.
00:46Well, there's a lot of corporate greed going on.
00:48No, I'm not.
00:49And by the way, I come from a corporate state of the world, Delaware, okay?
00:54Four corporations incorporated in my state and every other state in the union combined,
00:58okay?
00:59So I'm not anti-corporation.
01:00I'm just about fairness.
01:02So three things I'm going to do.
01:03I'm going to change the tax system.
01:04The wealthy are going to have to start paying their fair share.
01:10You know, I didn't remember that whole thing about those 55 corporations paid zero in taxes.
01:25Well, they said they couldn't do anything about it.
01:26Well, I did get something done about it, but I was only able to raise their tax to 15%.
01:31You'd all trade for that price, right, 15%?
01:34But we raised more money than paid for all the programs we have.
01:39We've actually cut the deficit.
01:41The things we're doing that he wants to take away, like healthcare and what we're trying
01:46to do in terms of what we are doing in terms of taking on Big Pharma.
01:50Big Pharma's in a position where they're charging exorbitant prices.
01:54If you know anybody who has diabetes, ask them what it's like now paying 35 instead
01:57of 400 bucks a month.
01:58The bottom line is there's nothing we can't do if we focus on who the hell we are.
02:11We're the United States of America.
02:13I really mean this.
02:14If we work together, there's not a damn thing we can't do.
02:17We've got a hell of a team running this time out.
02:20I just spoke to Dwight.
02:21He's going to be running statewide again.
02:29Pennsylvania is a critically important state, critically important state.
02:35I'm counting on you.
02:36I'm heading from here to Harrisburg.
02:38By the way, no one's ever had as much organized labor support as I have.
02:44And they're full-bore in, operating engineers.
02:51No, I'm serious.
02:54I'm the most pro-union senator in the history of the United States of America.
02:58I make no damn apologies for it, because when they do well, everybody does well.
03:02So anyway, look, I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.
03:07It's all about touching people.
03:09It's all about talking.
03:10It's all about finding what's out in their minds.
03:12That's the thing I miss most.
03:13I love the Secret Service, by the way.
03:15They're great.
03:16No, no, no, no.
03:18No, they really are.
03:21But I'm not able to do what I used to do.
03:23I'd be riding down the street in a vehicle before and see a bunch of kids in the schoolyard waving.
03:28I'd stop and get out.
03:29Realistically, I can't do that anymore.
03:32It's just too dangerous what's going on out there.
03:35But the point is, I just – the thing I miss most is just looking people in the eye.
03:41If you want to know what someone's thinking, you say, my name's Joe Biden.
03:44What's on your mind?
03:48And by the way, you can tell by looking in their eyes.
03:55So, folks, let them know we care.
03:58You have all the details.
04:00And by the way, I got my glasses in.
04:10Dark Brandon's coming back.
04:16And guess what?
04:18In the next 120-some days or so, they're going to get a real good look at who Donald Trump is.
04:26Anyway, thank you, thank you, thank you.
04:28Maybe I can just talk to them.
04:31Thank you.
04:32Thank you.
04:33Thank you.
04:34Thank you.
04:35Thank you.
04:36Thank you.
04:37Thank you.
04:38Thank you.
04:39Thank you.
04:40Thank you.
04:41Thank you.
04:42Thank you.
04:43Thank you.
04:44Thank you.
04:45Thank you.
04:46Thank you.
04:47Thank you.
04:48Thank you.
04:49Thank you.
04:50Thank you.
04:51Thank you.
04:52Thank you.
04:53Thank you.
04:54Thank you.
04:55Thank you.
04:56Thank you.
04:57Thank you.
04:58Thank you.
04:59Thank you.
05:00Thank you.
