00:00Stop finger-pointing over the Unity Coalition Sungai Baka by-election laws.

00:08This was the call made by Penang DAP Organizing Secretary Jason Hung after UMNO veteran Mustafa

00:13Yacoub claimed DAP leaders failed to approach Chinese voters in Sungai Baka.

00:18In dismissing the claim, Hung said that every component of the Unity government played their

00:22part in the by-election campaign.

00:24He also said all leaders in the Unity Alliance should respect the decision of Sungai Baka

00:28voters and focus on improving their service to the people instead of blaming others.

00:34According to data from Perikatan Nasional, fewer than half of the 8,642 Chinese voters

00:39in Sungai Baka went to the polls on Saturday.

00:43Nonetheless, Hung said the Penang government will intensify its efforts to look after the

00:47people and implement policies that would benefit them in the long run.

00:52He also said the state Unity government will increase its efforts to listen to the voice

00:56of the grassroots in order to serve the people better and regain their confidence and support.
