Fragonard, a story, a family
It was not long before the First World War that Eugène Fuchs, a businessman with a passion for the magic of perfume, decided to set up his own company. His business idea was based on a completely new concept at the time: the direct sale of perfume products to tourists who were beginning to discover the charms of the Riviera. That was the beginning of the Fragonard perfumery in 1926.

00:00So I'm Agnès Webster. I'm the president of Fragonard Perfumery. I'm the fourth generation
00:22of the same family who started this company in 1926. My great-grandfather opened this

00:49They started the visit of the factories to the first tourists coming on the south of
00:57France and it was mostly developed by my father who worked for 70 years in this life,
01:05in this company. We took over with my sisters a few years ago, quite a few years ago, and
01:14we're handling this company since then. We have developed it very much and we love to
01:19share the know-how of perfumeries, our collections, our workshops, all the places where we do
01:27produce perfumes, soaps, and cosmetics.
