The Sun: It's a star that gives us light and heat. It's at the center of our solar system.

Planets: There are eight planets orbiting the Sun:

Mercury: Closest to the Sun, very hot.
Venus: Known for its thick clouds and extreme heat.
Earth: Our home! It has oceans, land, and life.
Mars: The "Red Planet," with dry land and a thin atmosphere.
Jupiter: The largest planet, with a big red spot and many moons.
Saturn: Known for its beautiful rings made of ice and dust.
Uranus: It spins on its side and is icy cold.
Neptune: Farthest from the Sun, icy and windy.
Moons: Many planets have moons that orbit around them, like Earth's Moon or Jupiter's many moons.

Asteroids and Comets: These are smaller objects that also orbit the Sun. Some are made of rock (asteroids) and others are icy (comets).

Space Exploration: Humans have sent spacecraft to explore the planets and learn more about our solar system.
