00:00In Montana, the education company CAN Academy Philippines partnered with an education foundation

00:06to improve and make the teaching of Filipino students more modern.

00:11With the help of organizations such as the Gokongwe Brothers Foundation,

00:15CAN Academy decided that more students will be able to use their free interactive app.

00:22The app also teaches lessons in a solid depth-ed curriculum

00:26so that it will be more accessible to Filipino students.

00:29The app will also help teachers to quickly monitor where students are having a hard time.

00:37They are focused on math, science, and reading,

00:40subjects that are low in the Program for International Student Assessment or PISA ranking.

00:49We are in an education crisis.

00:51Our scores are so low in reading, math, and science.

00:56So we really need all the tools we can help.

00:59We need to move into the digital age or we will not be able to compete in the global economy.

01:03It's not just a CAN Academy thing.

01:05It is really for our nation to move forward and digitize now.

01:08We just have to offer more means of learning to various kids.
