00:00Exactly. I mean, it's been a huge surprise with the media of here, obviously, also talking about
00:05this, about how we see Le Pen and her national rally taking on third place, if you like. But
00:12we've seen reaction coming in from the left politicians, the leader of the centre-left
00:17Democratic Party, Ellie Schlein, saying that this result is extraordinary for a united left,
00:25and it is a sign that the right can be defeated. We also heard from Paolo Gentiloni, a former
00:32Prime Minister, a founding member of the Democratic Party, and an EU commissioner as well.
00:38He tweeting very simply, Viva la Repubblic. So clearly, celebrations from left-leaning politicians
00:46here in Italy, but we're not really hearing anything from right-wing politicians. Seems to
00:52be some silence on that front, particularly from Matteo Salvini. He had tweeted earlier on today,
00:58as polling began, talking about onward for Le Pen and Bardella, but now we certainly have not heard
01:05anything from him. Miss Maloney, for her part, had congratulated Le Pen on the first round of voting
01:12in this legislative elections, saying that she understood that the country would be polarised,
01:17but she would prefer the right. But clearly, her preference hasn't come into place. But we are going
01:23to see a period of political and economic turmoil in France. That's very clear. France perhaps
01:31not used to the idea of such a grand coalition, something that perhaps is more common here in
01:37Italy. What we've also seen online is that some observers are saying, well, you know, France
01:45managed to block the far-right from coming into power by mobilising, by uniting the left. That
01:52wasn't the case in Italy two years ago, when the right-wing coalition was more organised and
01:58therefore won the election. And now you see Giorgia Maloney, a far-right leader of a far-right
02:03Brothers of Italy party, in power.
