00:00Senator Francis Tolentino recommended that Manila Zoo be transferred to the Basungi Geo-Reserve in Baras Rizal.
00:07According to Tolentino, it would be better if the animals that are being cared for are given space that is closer or similar to their natural habitat.
00:16The senator said that aside from the small area in Manila Zoo, the animals are also exposed to heat, pollution, and noise.
00:24The Basungi Geo-Reserve Foundation accepted Tolentino's recommendation.
