00:00Hello, a warm welcome to Centre Court on this first Saturday of Wimbledon 2024.
00:10It's a breezy, rainy day outside.
00:13I'm not sure if the umbrella's up for the rain or for the sun, but the umbrella's coming
00:24down now.
00:25So, good news outside.
00:29It's always a huge honour and privilege to be here at Wimbledon.
00:31It's been an excellent championship from what I've seen, and some very exciting tennis today
00:35as well.
00:36It's an honour to play on Centre Court.
00:37I've played on all the Centre Courts around the world, but I think Wimbledon's Centre
00:41Court is still something more special and still something different.
00:44I'm happy with where I've gotten so far, but definitely not satisfied.
00:58I think the pinnacle of tennis is playing the number one in the world at Wimbledon,
01:04probably on Centre Court.
01:05So, I'm very, very excited and ready to get after it.
01:11It's always not easy to play against such a champion as Onsi.
01:14I was really happy with the way I handled some really tough moments today.
01:20So, yeah, I'm just really relieved and happy with my performance.
01:28The world number one is out.
01:31An incredible, extraordinary performance from Yulia Putinsaeva.
01:36I was feeling it on the court, and that's why I was like a fire.
01:40I was trying to entertain you more and more with my shots.
01:45I was taking energy from you guys.
01:46Thank you.
01:50I definitely felt better today than I have in a second-round match.
01:53So, hopefully the trajectory will keep going in a positive way.
01:57As the tournament progresses, each match I'll feel better.
02:00Yeah, let's see what happens in the next one.
