00:00Okay, everyone joined here by player of the match, Bukayo Saka. We have time for five questions, so if you can raise your hand if you're interested.
00:18We'll start with Alex Hale here, microphone coming your way. Thank you.
00:23Hi Bukayo, congratulations. The standard of penalty in that shootout was pretty incredible and it looked like the players enjoyed the occasion. How would you sum it up?
00:33Yeah, I think obviously, well, for myself, I believe we have some of the best takers in the Premier League and in the world, so we've talked about it before. If it did come to penalties, we would be pretty confident.
00:45And yeah, I'm happy we showed that today. We scored five out of five and we're through to the next round.
00:51Bukayo, just from a personal point of view, in terms of your own penalty, potentially exercising some demons from 2021, how did that feel when you looked like you enjoyed it?
01:02Yeah, I think for me it's something I embrace. You can fail once, but you have a choice whether you put yourself in that position or not again.
01:12I'm a guy who's going to put myself in that position. I believed in myself and when I saw the ball hit the net, I was a very happy man.
01:21Bukayo, just on that again, though, stepping up for it, just a normal routine or any nerves, any thoughts of 2021 as you do the long walk to get there?
01:32No, I'm not going to be focusing on the past. That's done. I can only focus on now and taking the penalty.
01:39Of course, I know there's a lot of nervous people watching, my family included in the crowd, but I kept my cool and I scored.
01:48Bukayo, Harry Kane only got 26 touches tonight. How do you think you can get more out of him?
01:54I think each game is different. Of course, we'd love Harry Kane to touch the ball a lot more, but I think today we won the game.
02:03We're going to review it tomorrow and the day after and next game, see how we can improve.
02:09A few words to the Swiss team, especially Granit Xhaka. How sorry are you for him?
02:14Yeah, Granit, he's had an incredible season. I think he's won enough trophies already, but I think he's an amazing player, amazing person.
02:22Even after they lost, the humility showed to come and shake our hands. He's a top guy and I wish him all the best.
02:29Also, the Swiss team, they gave us a good game and took us to penalties, so all the best for them too.
02:36Congratulations, Bukayo. On to the semi-finals now, obviously so close in a number of tournaments.
02:42How important is it you've grasped this opportunity and how's the mindset heading into hopefully two more games?
02:49Yeah, listen, we know there's two more games until we can change our lives and make some history that's never been made before.
02:58We're really focused on that. We're going to enjoy tonight and obviously focus on the next game.
03:04We're going to watch the game as well and see who we're facing and of course be ready for that when it comes.
03:10Thank you, everybody.
03:12Thank you.
03:18Thank you.
