Three questions with Shane van Gisbergen before Chicago return

Ahead of his doubleheader of racing in the Xfinity and Cup events at the Chicago Street Race, SVG answers some burning questions for NASCAR.

00:00I just love the racetrack, it's a proper street track, you've got to be so committed, you've

00:13got to be willing to be able to touch the walls, not hit them, just touch them and not

00:17be scared of that.

00:18He's trying to play defense, he'll lose second as SVG is on the move, he'll take the spine.

00:23Looks good, the track looks really cool so hopefully walk around it later today and yeah

00:27everything just learning the track, how it races, where you can pass people I guess and

00:32defend as well and then hopefully it's dry this year as well so it should be a lot more

00:37racy in the track and more passing sponsored.

00:39Here he comes, battle for the lead, Shane Van Gisbergen to the inside and to the lead

00:45of turn two.

00:48That's just a track house thing, you know all the drivers, we've got to have something

00:51to celebrate our wins and yeah Daniel has the pinata, Roth has the watermelon he smashes

00:57and I kick a rugby ball into the stands so hopefully we're doing that in a couple of

01:01days.

01:02Shane Van Gisbergen, he's got the very first street race in XCO.

01:10It was amazing how everything I guess was empty at the start of the race from the storm

01:14and then you looked at the end of the race and it was just packed, you know there was

01:16three or four people deep on the wall, it was pretty cool and the street race here is

01:21epic for all the fans too so yeah, the weather should be better, the concert should be epic

01:26and hopefully everyone has a great time.
