00:00Hello mga kapuso, today we'll talk about and learn more about Philippine Pro Wrestling.
00:06And today we'll be joined for the first time by a Filipino Pro Wrestler.
00:11That's on this episode of Game On, the podcast.
00:31What's up sports fans? Welcome to Game On, the podcast.
00:35The first sports podcast of GMA brought to you by GMA Regional TV, GMA Synergy, and GMA DigiLab.
00:42My name is Anton Rojas.
00:44You can find us on GMA Sports and GMA News on YouTube and Facebook.
00:49We are also on Apple Music and on Spotify.
00:52I'm Coach Hammer, Martin Antonio.
00:54And this is Martin Javier. Allow me to introduce our guest.
00:59Pro Wrestling Style!
01:03Introducing first, all the way from Baguio City, Philippines, weighing 195 pounds,
01:10The Duke of Shoots, Duke Ortega!
01:19Mr. Duke Ortega, welcome to the pod.
01:21Thank you, thank you for having me here.
01:24It's the first time that we'll be talking about pro wrestling here in the Philippines.
01:29You are our first pro wrestler guest here on the pod.
01:33And it's rare, especially in sports podcasts, that pro wrestlers are invited.
01:39We're very interested because we've been wrestling fans since we were kids.
01:45It's part of our childhood, pretty much early 2000s, 2010s.
01:52All of that became a part of us.
01:5490s for me and this guy.
01:56Late 90s.
01:58The first time I watched a pay-per-view was when Stone Cold won his first championship against Shawn Michaels.
02:05I still remember that.
02:07So, Stone Cold's opponent was DX and Stone Cold won his first.
02:11Who was his opponent?
02:13Of course, it was DX.
02:15Because Stone Cold was just a challenger.
02:18But after that win, everyone wanted the Austin 360 t-shirt.
02:22I thought it was Ministry of Darkness because it's all black.
02:25We're the nation of domination.
02:28But of course, we have a version here in the Philippines.
02:32Yes, yes we do.
02:33A lot of people know this, but of course, we want to expand the viewership.
02:39So, our wrestling community in the Philippines is big.
02:44Talk about FPW.
02:46So, FPW started in late 2022.
02:50We had our first show in October.
02:53This was the first time that wrestling came back since the pandemic.
02:59So, obviously, a lot of fans came out and showed support during that October show.
03:06And we've been wrestling ever since.
03:07So, we've had monthly shows for FPW.
03:10And so far, I'd say that the wrestling community has come out and shown their support.
03:16Where is the Filipino pro-wrestling, FPW?
03:19Is that just the one pro-wrestling body here in the Philippines that handles everything?
03:26Or it has different branches, different organizations under it?
03:30So, it's more of just...
03:32We are a promotion that puts together wrestling matches and wrestling shows.
03:39And for the moment, we are the only wrestling promotion in the Philippines.
03:44Okay. I'm very interested.
03:46Is this the same approach to international pro-wrestling?
03:50Like, you know, what we're used to in WWE.
03:53So, if we're talking about the WWE, you have two types of wrestling.
03:58You've got your indie promotions.
04:00So, you know, stuff like, of course, FPW.
04:04So, these are the independent promotions that are smaller in scale.
04:08They don't necessarily have TV shows or TV presence.
04:12And then you have the professional promotions like the WWE and AEW.
04:17In Japan, you've got NJPW where they promote their shows on television.
04:22And yeah, essentially, that's the two differences.
04:26For now, FPW is in the independent scene.
04:29Okay. How is the response of Filipinos?
04:33Of course, you know, that's always a challenge, especially you started in 2022.
04:39So, when you started, was the response of Filipinos okay?
04:43A lot of people were like, yes, I'll buy a ticket.
04:45Because the videos of pro-wrestling here, when you upload it, it goes viral fast.
04:51They're interested about the storyline, what's going on.
04:55So, how was the response, especially when you guys were starting out back in 2022?
05:00Basically, there were a lot of people just coming out and just watching the show.
05:04Especially the very first show.
05:06And in terms of the Pinoy experience and the Pinoy, I would say, reception to the show,
05:12it's really – as a person who's wrestled internationally,
05:17the community here is very respectful of the show.
05:22But they're also not – like if they see something that they want to have fun with,
05:29they'll heckle, right? They'll heckle.
05:31But it's in the fun way. It's never in the disrespectful way.
05:35It's more of just – they want to be a part of the show.
05:41So, when they come in, and there's a lot of them,
05:44they just watch the performance and they're 100% invested in it.
05:51I think that we are all waiting for that time where the audience becomes more engaged.
05:59Because I think that's what really brought life and interest to the WWE.
06:04Imagine if we can get the people in the live audience to be as invested
06:11and as crazy as those who comment on social media.
06:15Because I think that will fuel you guys, right?
06:18I mean, if they're heckling you and you have the mic in your hands,
06:22you can respond right back.
06:24Oh, man. So, I wrestle as a bad guy, as a heel.
06:28Oh, okay.
06:31And am I allowed –
06:33Why are you looking at me?
06:35Because you're the epitome of a heel, Hammer.
06:39I thought you were going to say –
06:41Maybe he's looking for a tag team.
06:44Hey, this is the great Kali, Filipino version.
06:51You can be Kevin Nash.
06:55Just don't tear your quad like Kevin Nash.
06:59So, in terms of actual, as a heel, interacting with the audience,
07:05my wrestling name is Duke Ortega, right?
07:08And my name, the one they introduced me as, is Duke of Shoot.
07:14But when I go out there and I'm playing the bad guy,
07:18the crowd chants, Duke of ****, Duke of ****.
07:23I swear, there's nothing that fuels me more than hearing them chant that.
07:28Because it's like, yeah, no, come on, hate me, hate me more.
07:31You already did half of my work.
07:34Because you're already engaged.
07:36That's what they're saying, right?
07:37If you're a heel, people will hate you.
07:40People will absolutely hate you.
07:41And everybody, if you're doing your job, they would hate you, really.
07:44Yeah, and when I go out there and it's just the entrance,
07:48they're already chanting that?
07:49Like, oh, yeah, I got you.
07:50You're in the palm of my hand now.
07:52So when I start beating up your hero,
07:56that must be the best feeling ever.
07:59I live for that, man.
08:01Okay, I want to define it more.
08:05Did you have idol villains in wrestling?
08:09Heels.
08:10Ah, heels. Oh, gosh.
08:11Okay, if we're talking about my most favorite character,
08:16it would be Eddie Guerrero.
08:18Oh, me, my love.
08:21I lie, I cheat, I steal.
08:24Exactly, man.
08:25Because that's the level of heel work that all heels aspire to.
08:30Imagine that your entire character is based on lying, cheating, and stealing,
08:37and yet people still love you.
08:38They love you and they love to hate you.
08:42It's like, oh, I really don't like Eddie Guerrero.
08:44And people will come to your show and watch to see you get beaten up.
08:47But there are also people who are like, I really love Eddie Guerrero,
08:50and they'll come to see you cheat and steal.
08:53For us, a lowrider is a tricycle.
08:56It's not a lowrider, it's a tricycle.
08:59Right?
09:00Yes.
09:01It's possible, right?
09:02It's possible.
09:03It's possible.
09:04Lowrider is a jeepney jeepney.
09:07The one that bounces.
09:08But, you know, that's an interesting POV because
09:11exactly what you said,
09:14Eddie Guerrero is a heel, but we love him.
09:18We love his character.
09:19Some people love that they, I don't know,
09:22hate that they love him because he's so bad.
09:26He does a lot of things in the ring.
09:28He does a lot of things in the ring, but you enjoy it.
09:31Yeah.
09:32Right?
09:33That's his persona.
09:36He will find a way to cheat and get a win every time.
09:40By the way, this is all RIP Eddie Guerrero.
09:43Speaking from us very early.
09:45Yeah.
09:46Okay, I love that.
09:47Eddie Guerrero.
09:49How about Bida Wrestlers?
09:53Bida Wrestlers.
09:54The babyface.
09:55The babyface.
09:57If we're talking about babyfaces, I love Cesaro.
10:02Have you guys heard of him?
10:03No.
10:04The bodybuilder.
10:05The bodybuilder.
10:06Yeah, the bodybuilder.
10:08Isn't Cesaro the guy with the mask?
10:10No, no, no.
10:11He used to wrestle for WWE.
10:12He now wrestles for AEW.
10:14He's so strong.
10:15He giant swung.
10:17I don't know if you know what a giant swing is,
10:19but it's basically when you carry somebody by their legs
10:22and you spin around in a circle,
10:24and he giant swung at the Great Khali.
10:27What?
10:28Yeah.
10:29Guy 7'3".
10:30Guy 7'3".
10:31He weighs over 200, like over 250 pounds,
10:34and he's just swinging him around like he's a doll.
10:36If you're wondering why Martin Javier's reaction is like that,
10:40it's because his favorite is the Great Khali.
10:43It's exactly like I said, I'm an a**hole.
10:46I hated that era of wrestling.
10:49Because you haven't lost yet.
10:52Rey Mysterio will still fight.
10:55No, Rey Mysterio won.
10:56Rey Mysterio won.
10:57Rey Mysterio is the champion.
11:00So if we're talking about babyfaces, it would be that,
11:02and Stone Cold.
11:04Stone Cold's a great babyface.
11:06When he still had hair.
11:07When he still had hair.
11:08Before Austin in 316.
11:09Before Jake the Snake.
11:10I think Stone Cold was the best babyface and a**hole at the same time.
11:17Yes, exactly.
11:18By far.
11:19By far.
11:20Alright, so every hero or character has an origin story.
11:25What is the origin story of Duke Ortega?
11:28Like, where are you from?
11:31And when did you first get introduced to wrestling?
11:34And did you ever imagine that one day you would actually get into the business?
11:38Okay, cool.
11:39A lot of questions.
11:40I will start with where I came from.
11:43So I grew up in Baguio watching a lot of wrestling on TV.
11:49Even if my parents were like,
11:50Hey, don't watch that.
11:52You just saw a guy put his head through a cinder block.
11:54You're not supposed to see that.
11:55And I'm like, no, no, I'll watch it.
11:57So he's used to wrestling in high altitude.
12:00He has an advantage.
12:02He's at sea level.
12:04And growing up through high school and college,
12:08I practiced judo and karate.
12:12So making the transition to pro-wrestling in the later stage of my life as an adult was pretty seamless.
12:24In regards to thinking that I would be a pro-wrestler,
12:29I didn't even think of it.
12:32Like, I enjoyed wrestling.
12:34But in the Philippines, wrestling?
12:37No.
12:38But all of a sudden, one of my friends said,
12:41Hey, there's this promotion that's out there,
12:43the now defunct PWR,
12:45and they're doing a boot camp.
12:47You want to join?
12:48I'm like, yeah, sure.
12:49Let's do it.
12:50And the first thing they taught me was all the basics that I learned in judo.
12:53So it's like, oh yeah, this is easy, right?
12:56And I learned later on that it wasn't.
12:58But during that time, I was like all in.
13:01I wanted so much to be a pro-wrestler.
13:05And I had so much fun doing that,
13:07doing the training sessions,
13:09working in front of an audience,
13:13just loving that.
13:16Yeah.
13:17You mentioned already the training sessions.
13:20Because we see the wrestlers saying,
13:23Oh, you know, they're not really hitting the other person.
13:26It's so hard.
13:27But the training of a pro-wrestler,
13:30Coach Hammer said,
13:32This is tough.
13:33Because you have to do the stunts yourself.
13:36Of course, you're risking your life.
13:38Not only your life, but your partner's life.
13:41Because there are two of you,
13:42when you're performing on pro-wrestling, if I'm not mistaken.
13:46Kids, don't try this at home.
13:48Because there's a synergistic relationship
13:50when the two of you are performing.
13:52This is the move that we would pull out.
13:54You need to also protect the one that you're performing with.
13:57Exactly.
13:58So when it comes to the training sessions,
14:00and actually at the moment,
14:01FPW is running an FPW Academy
14:04where anyone can just come in
14:06and try to see if they're fit to be a pro-wrestler.
14:09So hey, Hammer, if you're...
14:11The steel chip.
14:12Wait, the steel chip.
14:41what we call gassed.
14:43Do you know what that is?
14:44Gassed like you're running out of breath.
14:47So, yeah.
14:48Say, for instance, you're doing a match that's like,
14:51say, 30 minutes.
14:53An hour long.
14:54An hour long, 30 minutes.
14:55An hour long is like, wow, that's a lot.
14:56But 30 minutes or 15 minutes,
14:59and then you run out of air two minutes in or three minutes in.
15:02What are you going to do?
15:04So the first thing we do is we work on your cardio.
15:07Because the strength can always be built on.
15:09Cardio is like...
15:10Cardio is hard-yo.
15:11Cardio is hard-yo.
15:13After that, once we know that you can do all the moves,
15:17or like, sorry, you're physically fit for that,
15:20then we move on to the actual move set.
15:22Like, okay, can you do the basic things?
15:24Like, can you do a body slam?
15:26Can you take a clothesline?
15:29Can you...
15:30Not necessarily, oh yeah, you're going to do a top rope move?
15:33Nah, man.
15:34Like, later on, but for now, the basics.
15:36So punches, kicks, body slams, DDTs, that sort of thing.
15:42The last thing that we add is the character work.
15:45Because that's...
15:46You know, character work is usually the last thing that comes up
15:51because we just want to make sure that when you get into the ring,
15:54you don't look like a fool, right?
15:56Like, your character can be stupid,
15:58but as long as you're acting like you're stupid, that's fine.
16:01Okay.
16:02Hold on.
16:03How do you gauge if they're ready to go into the ring
16:08and get into an official match?
16:11Well, there are many ways of getting there.
16:16You'll know.
16:18It's hard to explain,
16:19but there are things that we call practice matches in the training period
16:26where you will do wrestling...
16:29Well, you will have a match with existing people or existing wrestlers.
16:34And from there, we'll gauge whether or not you're safe.
16:39Your character is, you know, not just marketable,
16:43but people can engage with it.
16:45So we don't want somebody there who doesn't speak a word,
16:48who has no...
16:50No, no, don't worry.
16:51No, don't worry, Hammer.
16:52Not yet.
16:53Not yet.
16:54Or who can't wrestle in the ring,
16:57who can't engage with the audience.
16:59The moment that we see that you can wrestle in the ring
17:02and you can engage with the people around you,
17:04not just your partner in the ring,
17:06but the people watching the performance,
17:09that's when it's like, okay, good.
17:11You're booked for the next show.
17:13That's why it's a little bit tougher
17:15because I think building confidence,
17:18you know, you only get that through experience,
17:22through repetition.
17:24And especially if you go through a training phase
17:27without an audience,
17:29it's still different when you go out.
17:31You got fans all over.
17:33You have, you know, a full crowd.
17:35I'm interested.
17:36I mean, when it comes to character development
17:38for the local guys,
17:40do you have a free hand of expressing
17:43how do you want your, let's say, Duke Ortega,
17:46where do you want to go?
17:48You mentioned you wrestled as a heel.
17:50Are you being steered in one way
17:52or is it a company effort
17:55that you'll choose
17:57if this is the trajectory you'll go on?
17:59Because with what we're exposed to with the WWE,
18:02there's always an upper management
18:04that tells them that, look,
18:06this is where we would want to drive you
18:08so there would be more storylines involved.
18:11Sure. So I guess it depends on
18:13how much the company trusts you, right?
18:15So the more the company trusts you,
18:17the more freedom you have
18:20in regards to choosing what your character is
18:22or what you want to say in the ring.
18:24Like, oh, yeah, it's up to you.
18:26But if they don't trust you as much,
18:28they're going to railroad you to,
18:30like, okay, this is your character.
18:32Stay within it.
18:34You don't necessarily have to,
18:36you can ad-lib a little bit within the lines,
18:38but as long as you get this main point done,
18:41like, yeah, this is what you need to do.
18:44So, yeah, the more they trust you,
18:46the more freedom you have in regards to your character.
18:49When Duke speaks,
18:51you can tell that he's well-educated.
18:53You're from La Salle, right?
18:54Yes, yes.
18:55So I also think the mental aspect
18:58is very much as important
19:01as the physical aspect as well.
19:04But we also know that,
19:06like, how old are you?
19:08I'm 32.
19:09You're 32 and you're still doing this.
19:11You're risking your body
19:12to be a professional wrestler.
19:14Are you doing this full-time?
19:1532.
19:16Are you doing this full-time?
19:18No, I'm not.
19:19I'm doing this on the side
19:21next to my full-time job.
19:23Okay, which is?
19:25Consultancy.
19:26Tech consultancy.
19:27Wow.
19:28Man, respect.
19:29Thank you.
19:30Okay, so you're working
19:32and you're risking your body.
19:33And we know that in the WWE,
19:36like, Owen Hart tragically passed away
19:39because of a stunt he was doing.
19:41Stone Cold was piledrivered
19:44by the late Owen Hart
19:46and his health deteriorated.
19:48Bret Hart was kicked by Goldberg,
19:50whom he called an imbecile.
19:52And there is a documentary
19:54about it right now.
19:56Have you ever had an experience
19:58where you got injured
20:01because of an accident?
20:03And how do you overcome it?
20:05Sure.
20:06And why would you take such a risk?
20:09Okay, let's tackle those in order.
20:13I think the simple answer here is
20:15YOLO.
20:16Okay, go ahead.
20:18I did get injured several times
20:20throughout my career.
20:23Way before the pandemic,
20:25I had my finger dislocated,
20:28my ring finger and my right hand dislocated
20:30catching somebody.
20:32And that was like minute five
20:34of a 30-minute match.
20:36So the rest of that time,
20:38again, this is where mental strength comes in.
20:40Just being able to continue with that match
20:44with a dislocated finger.
20:47That's one.
20:49Another one is my...
20:51I've had several times
20:53my shoulder had been,
20:55I wouldn't say dislocated,
20:56but the nerves had been a bit damaged.
20:59So it would take, like, say, weeks
21:01or at a certain point,
21:03like two months of recovery.
21:05And the latest injury that I sustained
21:08was an ankle injury
21:10where I couldn't walk for a week
21:12and then I couldn't walk unassisted
21:14by crutches for a month.
21:17But I love wrestling.
21:19Part of it, part of it.
21:21It's all part of it.
21:22These are accidents in the ring.
21:24It's normally, in fact,
21:27it never happened to me,
21:28but I would say that
21:30most of the time,
21:31these accidents are never meant, right?
21:35These are things that just happen
21:37as a, I guess,
21:39it's just part of the work.
21:41It happens.
21:42And when that does happen,
21:44everyone there is regretful that it did happen.
21:47No one's going to be like,
21:48oh, I'm glad it happened to you, right?
21:51So, yeah, it's...
21:53I just love wrestling
21:55and just being able to wrestle
21:58is enough for me to bear the danger
22:01of getting injured in the ring.
22:05For some people, he's living the life
22:07because he has a full-time job
22:09and he gets to live out his passion
22:11and you get to wrestle as a pro,
22:15as a professional.
22:16I want to know,
22:17let's go back to FTW
22:19for a little bit.
22:20I want to know what's the Filipino flavor
22:24that's injected in pro wrestling.
22:27Like, what kinds of Filipino traits?
22:30Is there any spice to it?
22:32How do you go wild in the ring?
22:35There's a lot.
22:36There's a lot.
22:37There's a lot.
22:39He's leading.
22:41Don't get old.
22:42Like Hammer, you're leading there.
22:44Never joke.
22:45He's an uncle.
22:46He's an uncle.
22:48So, how do we inject Filipino flavor?
22:50A lot of our characters are based on...
22:53I mean, wrestling is always...
22:55The characters that you have in the ring
22:57are always going to be,
22:59like, I would say,
23:01exaggerated versions of people.
23:04You know, like,
23:05same people you see in real life, right?
23:07So, one of my favorite characters before,
23:10and he's still wrestling up to now,
23:12and he's one of the guys
23:13that are going to be performing
23:15in the show on July,
23:17is Idol.
23:18So, he's like,
23:20his character is,
23:21he comes up to you,
23:23he looks at you,
23:24and he's like,
23:25are you open-minded?
23:28Networking.
23:29Networking.
23:30They're the network, right?
23:31Yeah, the network.
23:32Don't you want coffee?
23:34That's their group, the network.
23:37They're networking.
23:38That's their gig.
23:40Yeah, yeah.
23:41And we have...
23:42Amazing.
23:43That character is so good.
23:45I love his performances every time.
23:48We have a couple of twins
23:50from Katips.
23:53And they're basically
23:56exactly what you'd imagine
23:58when they say they're from Katips.
24:01So, yeah, it's...
24:03A lot of Filipino wrestling characters,
24:05a lot of our characters
24:06from Filipino wrestling
24:07are essentially characters
24:09that you see in the life
24:11that you live in the Philippines.
24:13Okay, in terms of the audience,
24:15because when you watch a WWE,
24:17of course, there are borders,
24:19they have security there.
24:21Here, obviously,
24:23it's a smaller venue,
24:24and you mentioned
24:25it's a more interactive experience
24:27for the audience.
24:30What's the worst
24:31that you've experienced,
24:32or what's the worst thing
24:34that you've received
24:36from a fan?
24:38Do they come in there
24:39and fight you?
24:41Total heckling?
24:44Because they have more freedom
24:46to interact with you guys.
24:48They definitely do.
24:50While we do have people
24:52who are watching over the audience,
24:54that hasn't stopped people
24:56from outright heckling.
24:59But I've never seen
25:01an audience member
25:02come into the ring, personally.
25:04That's never happened
25:05in the history of FBW,
25:07or the history of the other
25:09wrestling promotions
25:11in the Philippines.
25:13So, yeah.
25:15I would say that
25:16the worst thing that ever happened
25:18to me is...
25:22There was audience participation
25:24with one match.
25:25We had a hardcore match.
25:27A hardcore match is when you...
25:29No rules.
25:30No rules, no DQ.
25:32And we had this stipulation.
25:34Audience members can bring
25:37whatever they want,
25:39and we'll use it in the ring.
25:42So we had a box outside.
25:44Like, put whatever you want here.
25:46Someone brought Legos.
25:48Demented guy.
25:51Have you ever slept on a Lego before?
25:52Have you been slammed on a Lego?
25:56And then somebody brought
25:57a Wushu sword.
25:58It was dull.
25:59But it's like, why?
26:00What are we gonna do?
26:01What?
26:03Yeah, so...
26:04Stab people?
26:05Exactly.
26:08What does this guy want us to do?
26:11But as far as audience interactions go,
26:13I think that's the furthest.
26:15Like, the audience here is weird.
26:19They want to watch something else.
26:23Well, Duke, all I got to say is
26:25you better watch the audience.
26:28After your match with Proximo.
26:30Because you never know
26:32when the hammer will get dropped on you.
26:35You have a match,
26:36upcoming match,
26:37versus Proximo.
26:40Yeah, mask-wearing dude.
26:42Mask-wearing dude.
26:44I feel like that's a diss.
26:46Mask-wearing dude.
26:47Show your face!
26:48Can't even show his face.
26:49Show your face, Proximo!
26:52He's probably ugly underneath it.
26:55I don't blame him.
26:57Oh my gosh.
27:00Proximo catching strays.
27:02You heard it here first in Game On.
27:04Our boy calling you ugly.
27:06You know what, actually?
27:08Duke, Proximo's right here.
27:10Let's bring him in.
27:18So we're a week away
27:19from that particular match.
27:21How do you build up to that match?
27:24How do you hype the audience, the fans?
27:26And for you personally,
27:27how do you prep?
27:29And especially, how do you
27:31how do you build up the narrative,
27:33the storyline for this match?
27:35If we're talking about actually
27:38let's say promoting the show,
27:39it's a lot of social media.
27:42But if we're talking about
27:45preparing for that match,
27:46I don't think I need to prepare for Proximo.
27:49Like, I could just stay at home eating
27:52chips.
27:54This is the chillest trash talk ever.
27:57I don't even need to get worked up about Proximo.
27:59That's how I feel about this match.
28:02He's a newbie.
28:04Hides his face all the time.
28:06At this point, it's like,
28:07well, what do you have to offer, man?
28:12You can be fast, Proximo.
28:14You can be strong, Proximo.
28:16But I'm still better.
28:17By the way, this is part of the build up
28:19for that match.
28:20So Proximo has no chance against you.
28:24I wouldn't even put it in the same stratosphere, man.
28:29So are you saying that Coach Hammer
28:31has a bigger chance of beating you
28:33than Proximo?
28:34I would answer that's a zero chance.
28:37Please be honest.
28:38We got you, bro.
28:39I mean, he's 6'4".
28:41He's 230 now?
28:44I don't even know.
28:45I don't even know.
28:47That just means he weighs more.
28:49Maybe 260?
28:51I'm 260, bro.
28:53Hey, hey, hey, hey.
28:54I wouldn't say anything about a dance battle.
29:00But in the ring,
29:01I think Hammer's got a decent chance
29:03against Proximo, man.
29:08I love how he just transformed
29:10into your character.
29:12He's always in character.
29:14Always in character.
29:15What are you talking about?
29:16Okay, I'm interested because
29:18of course, wrestlers,
29:20part of their personality
29:21and their whole wrestling persona
29:24are your moves, right?
29:26Your finishing moves,
29:27your regular wrestling moves,
29:29pre-finishing moves.
29:32Okay, for you,
29:33can you give us your
29:35regular moves in the ring?
29:37Okay, my regular moves in the ring.
29:39I've got the best suplex in the game.
29:41Best suplex in the biz.
29:43Best suplex in the biz.
29:45So I'm pretty good at that.
29:48Suplexes in general.
29:50So the normal suplex,
29:51the exploder suplex,
29:55the T-bone suplex,
29:56the northern light suplex,
29:58all of those,
29:59the fisherman suplex,
30:00I'm pretty good at.
30:01Basics are,
30:03you know, it might be the basics,
30:05but these are the building blocks
30:06for me to destroy other people.
30:08So the judo helps then, I guess.
30:10Yeah, judo helps so much.
30:12Aside from that,
30:13I do love the Texas cloverleaf.
30:16It taps a lot of people out.
30:19And I do like the giant swing.
30:21So I love swinging people around as well.
30:24Giant swing.
30:25I think I saw that in one of your clips.
30:27Yeah.
30:28On Facebook.
30:29I've only seen that in the 80s,
30:30with King,
30:31at the end of the rolling cradle.
30:33Like that, right?
30:35Your finisher,
30:37so I saw it,
30:39and it's not easy.
30:41It's like,
30:42so you pick the guy up.
30:44Yeah, while he's on the ground, yeah.
30:46You build it up,
30:47you hold him in the air for a bit,
30:49and then you take two steps forward,
30:52and Batista bomb the guy.
30:54Yeah, well, it's a...
30:56And then straight to the pin.
30:58Straight to the pin, yeah.
30:59So carry him up,
31:01give him the thumbs down,
31:02and then straight down.
31:04So run a couple steps,
31:06you know, just give that extra oomph,
31:08jump up a little bit,
31:10and then come straight down.
31:11Liger bomb,
31:12what are the two words before it?
31:13So it's the gut wrench running liger bomb.
31:16Gut wrench running liger bomb.
31:19I can feel it.
31:21Did you come up with that on your own?
31:23Yes, actually.
31:25It's based on a couple of people
31:27that I look up to.
31:29So there's Alexander Carolin,
31:31he is an Olympian,
31:34Greco-Roman wrestler,
31:36and he used to lift people up
31:38just the same way I lift people up.
31:40Loved that guy,
31:41loved his work.
31:42He's a professor in wrestling,
31:44an actual wrestler in wrestling.
31:46A professor.
31:47He has a PhD on how to escape suplexes.
31:49Doctor.
31:50Wow.
31:51Doctor of wrestling.
31:52And yeah.
31:55Also,
31:57Jushin Thunder Liger.
31:58So,
31:59Japanese wrestler,
32:00he has the liger bomb.
32:01I just put two and two together.
32:02I was like,
32:03okay, I love this,
32:04I love that.
32:05If I combine it,
32:06it looks sick.
32:07Duke,
32:09not to spoil the fans,
32:12but,
32:13you know,
32:14Muhammad Ali used to always predict
32:16how he would finish his opponent.
32:18How are you going to finish Proximo?
32:20Do you have a plan,
32:21or are you just going to
32:23go about it on the fly?
32:24Honestly, I haven't even thought about it.
32:26It's not really something I think about,
32:28especially with Proximo.
32:30It's like,
32:31I'm going to win.
32:32It's as natural as breathing, right?
32:35It's as natural as breathing.
32:38That's right.
32:39And if I were going to say it,
32:41it's just going to end the same way.
32:43With his legs up in the air,
32:45me holding him down,
32:47and me going for the pin.
32:50Okay.
32:51Yeah!
32:52Proximo, watch out next week.
32:55But,
32:56Duke, I want to know,
32:57especially,
32:58what's your cue
33:00that you got to finish this man,
33:03and what's your cue that you have to
33:05do your finisher moves already?
33:07Well,
33:08that's,
33:09it's a lot.
33:10It's a lot of thinking
33:13for people who aren't named Proximo.
33:17But,
33:20normally,
33:21it's a sense of urgency against,
33:23like say for instance,
33:24one of the other wrestlers,
33:25Ralph Amobayashi.
33:26Because that guy,
33:27genuine threat against me.
33:29Right?
33:30Like, okay,
33:31I have to put him away
33:32or else he's going to end me.
33:33Right?
33:34He's going to pull one of my shoulders apart.
33:36With Proximo,
33:38I don't know,
33:39I don't want to see his face.
33:40So,
33:41uh,
33:42I guess the gut wrench running legger bomb
33:45would just do the trick.
33:46I really haven't thought about it.
33:48I'm sorry.
33:49You can do it at any point.
33:50Yeah.
33:51You know what?
33:52Let me,
33:53I'm going to try to do it
33:54at the start of the match.
33:55Oh!
33:57Wow.
33:58Okay.
33:59And they're so early.
34:00Yeah.
34:01Oh.
34:02I have a lot of trash talk here.
34:04That's part of it.
34:06That's part of it?
34:07Okay.
34:08You need to work on your mic skills, Hammer.
34:10That's what I have you for, my manager!
34:14My manager!
34:16Game is here,
34:17he's not talking.
34:18Paul Bearer is talking.
34:20Do not ever compare me to Paul Bearer.
34:24Jimmy Hart.
34:26Yeah, Jimmy Hart.
34:27Jimmy Hart.
34:28I'm like a fit wise man.
34:29Oh, yeah.
34:30That's who I am.
34:31That's two.
34:32He compared himself to Kane.
34:33He compared himself to Paul Bearer.
34:37Hey, Paul Bearer.
34:38I mean, you could just say you're,
34:40I don't know,
34:42gosh,
34:43there's so many people better than Paul Bearer and Kane.
34:50It's okay.
34:51It's okay.
34:52It's fine.
34:53Like I said, man,
34:54open invitation.
34:55If you want to join FPW,
34:56just go right ahead.
34:57We can line you up with a manager.
34:58It's okay.
34:59Let's figure out the music first.
35:03And invest in some fireworks and pyrotechnics.
35:08I feel like I can do it.
35:10I can do it.
35:11The next big thing in Filipino.
35:15I mean, you could just come in,
35:16you'd be like,
35:17you can have one line.
35:18It's like, I'm gonna break down the hammer.
35:20That's it.
35:21That's it.
35:22That's all you need to do.
35:23I like it because you like black.
35:25No, I can do that.
35:27I like what you're wearing.
35:28The one from the big show before.
35:30The onesie.
35:31Yeah, the onesie.
35:32Since we know that Duke will finish the fight quickly,
35:37we're ready.
35:38We're in the crowd.
35:40Then you're going in.
35:41You're gonna clothesline him.
35:43Because the fight will be over in five minutes, right?
35:47We're ready.
35:48I feel like it's only three minutes, bro.
35:51It's like...
35:54Don't lie.
35:55You come at the king.
35:56You best not miss.
35:58It's like a Money in the Bank match.
36:00After the fight, you're just gonna go for it.
36:02Later, when you clothesline him, he'll be on fire.
36:05I'll be like a lighter bomb.
36:07At the WrestleMania,
36:08I'll be the first one to clothesline him.
36:09He'll be on fire.
36:10No, Martz.
36:11We're from the crowd.
36:12From the crowd?
36:13We're from the crowd.
36:14No music.
36:15No music.
36:16From the crowd.
36:17We'll just go for it.
36:18Then if you're a special guest commentator,
36:20you'll be like,
36:21Leon!
36:23That's big!
36:24That's Coach Hammer!
36:28Oh, man!
36:29What is he doing?
36:30Oh, that's perfect.
36:31That's perfect.
36:33He's risking his life.
36:34We'll just go for it.
36:35He's your commentator.
36:36We'll just go for it.
36:37We'll just go for it.
36:38We'll just go for it.
36:39No, no.
36:40I'm just kidding.
36:41It's because of his basketball line.
36:42Why not?
36:43Coach Hammer is your commentator, right?
36:45Why not?
36:48Be a wrestler.
36:51It's like Jerry Ducking Lawler.
36:53That's good.
36:54That's good.
36:55Here, Martz.
36:56We want to get a front row seat
36:59to who Duke Ortega is
37:01and what he is all about.
37:03So, let's pretend right now you're a heel
37:05and for some strange reason,
37:07he's the baby face.
37:09I'm his manager and he's Michael Cole.
37:11Wow.
37:12You're putting me in a spot here.
37:13Okay.
37:14And, Duke,
37:15my client,
37:16Coach Hammer,
37:18is calling you out.
37:20He's challenging you to a match.
37:23You know what?
37:24You come on here,
37:25the Game On podcast,
37:27wearing that black shirt of yours
37:29with your name written all over it,
37:31looking all slick with that combed hair
37:34to the right side of your head.
37:36Oh, he went there.
37:37I do this.
37:38Well, thank you, though.
37:40I checked your Instagram
37:41and you said you have the meanest suplex in the biz.
37:44Well, guess what?
37:45Coach Hammer,
37:47he's got a choke slam
37:49that can shatter your spine
37:52and he's pulling up on you
37:54at your gym next week.
37:57What you gonna do, brother?
37:59Because he's about to drop the hammer on you.
38:03Let me tell you something.
38:05Hammer, I've seen your moves.
38:07I've seen you dance against Brandon Devera.
38:09I'm not afraid of you.
38:11He's seen it.
38:12I've seen it.
38:13If that's the best you can bring,
38:16then I'm sorry.
38:17And I also want to apologize.
38:19I'm sorry.
38:21I broke his character.
38:24Hammer broke his character.
38:26Why did you break character?
38:28He broke his character.
38:30You're fired.
38:36It was so much fun.
38:40And that's the end of Hammer's wrestling career.
38:43Down the drain.
38:44Down the drain.
38:46What a waste.
38:47You know what?
38:48Hammer has a character.
38:49Tattoos.
38:51Lips.
38:53If you give him something small,
38:55he'll throw it away.
38:56No, I'm telling you for real.
38:58If you want to join,
38:59just let me know, man.
39:00There's the invitation.
39:01There's the invitation.
39:08Let's get to what we call
39:10the vote.
39:11Still trying to figure out
39:13a better name for it,
39:14but it's what we got right now.
39:15We shall come up with the vote.
39:18Vote basically means
39:19favorite of all time.
39:22Duke,
39:23we all know that
39:24a lot of
39:25planning,
39:26a lot of
39:27advice from the management,
39:28and your personal preferences
39:30come into
39:31being who you are.
39:33So,
39:34we want you to,
39:35with your wrestling mind,
39:37come up with
39:38the ultimate wrestler
39:39based on
39:40several categories
39:41which are
39:42vital to
39:43the success
39:44of a wrestler.
39:45So, we got
39:46Mike Skills,
39:47the gimmick,
39:48the finisher,
39:49the entrance music,
39:50and if this wrestler
39:51is going to be
39:52a babyface
39:53or a heel,
39:54we already know the answer
39:55to that.
39:56So, heel.
39:57So, this is just four.
39:58Mike Skills,
39:59who was the best
40:00on the mic
40:01of all time?
40:02Dang, that comes up
40:03to multiple people,
40:04but
40:05if I were to give it
40:06to two,
40:07I'm a big fan
40:08of Kurt Angle's
40:09Mike Skills
40:10because he could get
40:11a crowd to hate him,
40:12right?
40:13Yeah, hated him.
40:14Hated him,
40:15but he was good at it.
40:16And he knew
40:17where to sprinkle comedy
40:19because he knew,
40:20okay,
40:21I need to make
40:22these people laugh
40:23at me,
40:24right?
40:25Because, like,
40:26if you're too much
40:27of a bad guy,
40:28people will just hate you,
40:29right?
40:30Just hate you.
40:31But if you're also,
40:32you know,
40:33you can provide
40:34some laughter in that,
40:35some comedy in that,
40:36that's even better
40:37because, like,
40:38they're laughing at you
40:39and they're engaging
40:40with your character.
40:41Other Mike Skills
40:42would be Eddie Guerrero.
40:43Obviously,
40:44Eddie Guerrero's Mike Skills
40:45were pretty good.
40:46Like,
40:47the way that he would
40:48explode at you,
40:49because he's,
40:50I wouldn't want to feed it
40:51the stereotype,
40:52but the Mexican,
40:53the angry Mexican,
40:54right?
40:55The moment it turned on.
40:56So who was that friend?
40:57Kurt Angle
40:58or Eddie Guerrero
40:59who fought for that champion
41:00in SmackDown?
41:01That's so hard.
41:02That's asking me
41:03to choose parents.
41:04It's like,
41:05before Eddie was the champion,
41:06it was Kurt Angle.
41:07It was Kurt, yeah.
41:08He was the SmackDown champion.
41:09Conflicted.
41:10Conflicted.
41:11So,
41:12I'm going to say
41:13I'm going to pass
41:14on that question.
41:33Best gimmick of all time
41:34for you.
41:35Best gimmick.
41:36That's so hard.
41:37You had the best gimmick.
41:38Okay.
41:39I'm going to give it
41:40to Kurt Angle
41:41in terms of shoot.
41:42In terms of reality
41:43bleeding into wrestling.
41:45The Olympic champion.
41:46Because he's an Olympic champion.
41:47He won a gold medal
41:48with a broken neck.
41:49You know,
41:50that sort of thing.
41:51That really feeds into,
41:52like,
41:53that really helps
41:54when you can
41:56use your
41:57real life experiences
41:58in your gimmick.
41:59Because that's,
42:00that's one is to one.
42:01You don't even have
42:02to act anymore.
42:03It's like,
42:04this character is me.
42:05I just have to like,
42:07exaggerate.
42:08That's it.
42:09I feel like
42:10your
42:11ideal wrestler
42:12is Kurt Angle.
42:13Well,
42:14it looks like that.
42:15But we'll get to it.
42:17Wrestling machine.
42:18He spits a lot.
42:20That's him.
42:21That's him.
42:22That's his foundation.
42:23Because he's legit.
42:24Like,
42:25Duke is also legit judo.
42:26So,
42:27he's just bringing
42:28his foundation
42:29into
42:30professional wrestling.
42:31And then he's adding
42:32layers to it.
42:33Character development.
42:34Finisher,
42:35aside from yours,
42:36for you,
42:37what was your favorite
42:38finisher of all time?
42:40So,
42:41Angles.
42:42Or his lock.
42:44Angle.
42:45Angle lock.
42:46Angle lock.
42:47Angle lock.
42:48So,
42:49the,
42:50one of the best things
42:51when think,
42:52to think about
42:53when
42:54thinking about
42:55making a finisher
42:56or doing a finisher
42:57is you got to be able
42:58to do it
42:59to anybody.
43:00Right?
43:01So, it's like,
43:02okay,
43:03there are finishers that
43:04are like,
43:05say,
43:06you're
43:07150 pounds,
43:08right?
43:09And then your
43:10opponent is
43:11300 to 50,
43:12right?
43:13You can't
43:14powerbomb that guy.
43:15So,
43:16you got to think of
43:17another move that
43:18you can use on him.
43:19So,
43:20one of my favorite
43:21wrestling moves
43:22is the,
43:23well,
43:24one,
43:25the RKO.
43:26Because
43:27you can do it
43:28to anybody.
43:29You can do it
43:30even in a swimming pool.
43:31Even in a pool.
43:32He did it
43:33out of nowhere.
43:34RKO.
43:35Exactly.
43:36Like,
43:37you can do it from
43:38any point of,
43:39like,
43:40any,
43:41like,
43:42somebody coming in
43:43from,
43:44like,
43:45he's jumping over
43:46and then you just
43:47catch his neck.
43:48Yeah,
43:49RKO.
43:50Like,
43:51you're sneaking in
43:52from the crowd,
43:53RKO.
43:54Some guy is running
43:55down the entrance ramp,
43:56RKO.
43:57So, yeah,
43:58RKO, man.
43:59That's like,
44:00the best finisher.
44:01Aside from that,
44:02you can do it to anybody.
44:03HBK.
44:04HBK, yeah.
44:05Stop it, Hammer.
44:06You don't have the flexibility.
44:08Okay,
44:09entrance music.
44:10Because, like,
44:11I think this has evolved
44:12over time
44:13because
44:14during the Attitude era,
44:15it was clearly
44:16just instrumentals.
44:18Like,
44:19Limp Bizkit-style music.
44:21And then if you have a gimmick,
44:22like,
44:23The Undertakers.
44:24Now,
44:25the fans actually sing
44:26to the entrance songs
44:27and it's so vital.
44:28For you,
44:29who has the best
44:31entrance music
44:32of all time?
44:33Modern day,
44:34it would be
44:35the WWE.
44:36I'm not sure
44:37if you've heard of him.
44:38His name is
44:39Shinsuke Nakamura.
44:40And
44:41what would happen is
44:42when he first came
44:43into the WWE,
44:44he had such
44:46a banger
44:47of a theme song
44:48that when they
44:49switched him
44:50to a bad guy,
44:51they were still
44:52singing along
44:53to his entrance music.
44:54So,
44:55like,
44:56obviously,
44:57it's detrimental to him.
44:58But,
44:59you know,
45:00it was
45:01a really good track.
45:03But,
45:04if we're talking about
45:05old-school
45:06wrestling music,
45:08I think it's Stone Cold.
45:10Because the moment
45:11glass breaks,
45:14instant,
45:15like,
45:16recognition.
45:17Like,
45:18oh,
45:19I know,
45:20I know.
45:21That's not how
45:22the fans scream.
45:23That's the first time
45:24I've heard Coach Hammer
45:25scream like that.
45:26That's the most
45:27high-pitched
45:28you've been.
45:29No,
45:30it's for kids,
45:31right?
45:33If we're talking
45:34about the lyrics,
45:35it would be HBK.
45:36HBK's theme.
45:38Actually,
45:39John Cena.
45:41Stop.
45:43John Cena
45:44doesn't exist anymore,
45:45right?
45:46Well,
45:49I don't know.
45:50I feel like that's
45:51because I've heard it
45:52so many times
45:53that it's like,
45:54because it became
45:55a meme,
45:56so it's like,
45:57okay.
45:58Song lang.
46:00Kane.
46:02Interior.
46:03Man,
46:04I would've never guessed
46:05na-iconic para sa'yo yun.
46:07Kasi,
46:08yung music na yun,
46:09pagpasok niya,
46:10yung person will ask
46:11if he's from hell.
46:12So, parang
46:13may sunog talaga na,
46:14you know,
46:15you're burning in hell.
46:16Oh,
46:17here's Kane.
46:18Seven-foot Kane.
46:20Damn, man.
46:21Yung parang may sunog,
46:22tas nakikita mo yung
46:23may waves ng konti.
46:25Actually,
46:26if we're talking about that,
46:27then
46:28the one that has
46:29like,
46:30brand recognition,
46:31Undertaker.
46:32Yung dong.
46:33Like, ah, alam na.
46:34Diba?
46:35It's like,
46:36lights go off,
46:37dong.
46:38Ako kasi,
46:39NWO.
46:40Oothpuck e.
46:41The Oothpuck yung
46:42na-alam na.
46:45That's my favorite
46:46nursery rhyme.
46:50Are there some dudes
46:51in the business
46:52who actually have
46:53zero
46:54background
46:55in terms of combat sports
46:56and are in the business?
46:58Okay,
46:59uh,
47:00and do you like working
47:01with those dudes?
47:02I'd be scared for them,
47:03by the way.
47:04So,
47:05pero hindi,
47:06pero nakakatakot din yun
47:07kasi hindi marunong.
47:08So, diba,
47:09if he has to take a bump
47:10from that guy,
47:12diba ka ma-injure pa.
47:14I have worked with people
47:16who have
47:17zero combat sports experience.
47:19And,
47:20you know,
47:21like,
47:22looking at people who,
47:23like if you're HR
47:24and you're looking at people
47:25who have zero experience
47:26in the field
47:27but have transferable skills,
47:28you know,
47:29or in,
47:30you know,
47:31it doesn't
47:32necessarily mean
47:33that you can't wrestle.
47:34That's why
47:35there's an entire
47:36training phase
47:37in regards to that.
47:38So,
47:39before we put you
47:40in the ring,
47:41obviously,
47:42we want to make sure
47:43that you can wrestle,
47:44you can keep yourself safe,
47:45you can keep your partner safe.
47:46Right?
47:47Uh,
47:48although,
47:49I will say that
47:50people with zero
47:51combat sports experience
47:52have
47:53a longer
47:54training period
47:55compared to people
47:56who do.
47:57Because,
47:58the first thing we teach you
47:59is,
48:00aside from cardio,
48:01is learning how to
48:02break your fall.
48:03And,
48:04you know,
48:05like just like
48:06falling on your
48:07front,
48:08falling on your back,
48:09that's hard
48:10to learn
48:11for people who have
48:12no experience
48:13in that field.
48:15I have wrestled
48:16in Australia.
48:17Uh,
48:18I've trained in Singapore,
48:19I've wrestled in Australia,
48:20in the East Coast.
48:22Uh,
48:24trained in Australia
48:25for,
48:26uh,
48:27I would say,
48:28a couple of months.
48:29And then,
48:30at a certain point,
48:31they were like,
48:32hey,
48:33did you bring your gear?
48:34And of course,
48:35as a,
48:36yeah,
48:37exactly.
48:38And as a professional,
48:39I brought my gear.
48:40Right?
48:41So like,
48:42yeah,
48:43of course,
48:44of course I brought my gear.
48:45So they put me on the show.
48:46Uh,
48:47fun fact,
48:48if you are a visiting wrestler,
48:49normally you don't win.
48:50But,
48:51at a certain point
48:52in my career,
48:53when I was there,
48:54they were like,
48:55hey,
48:56so,
48:57uh,
48:58you were thinking,
48:59it's a,
49:00it's a hardcore match,
49:01four of you.
49:02Uh,
49:03why don't you pick up the win?
49:04I'm like,
49:05are you sure?
49:06I'm a foreigner,
49:07I'm not supposed to win.
49:08He's like,
49:09no, no,
49:10it's okay.
49:11You do it.
49:12So I,
49:13I have
49:14a very good win-loss ratio
49:15for a foreigner
49:16in Australia.
49:17How's the pro wrestling scene
49:18in Australia?
49:19I would say it's really good.
49:20Like,
49:21most states,
49:22obviously in Australia,
49:23you've got Queensland,
49:24you've got,
49:25uh,
49:26New South Wales.
49:27Each state has its own promotion,
49:28has like five promotions
49:29for each state.
49:30Wow.
49:31And they wrestle every week.
49:32But,
49:33that's because they're in an economy
49:34that allows them to do that.
49:35So,
49:36you know,
49:37it's like,
49:38okay,
49:39cool.
49:40That's,
49:41it's a state,
49:42it's sustainable for them.
49:43And,
49:44they have a lot of fun doing it.
49:45And,
49:46all of the wrestlers that I know
49:47in Australia,
49:48that I've met,
49:49are
49:50very friendly,
49:51very good.
49:52Uh,
49:53and,
49:54they're very safe.
49:55So,
49:56uh,
49:57they get an A-plus from me.
49:58Yeah.
49:59They get an A-plus from you.
50:00Yeah.
50:01All right.
50:02So,
50:03we're very excited,
50:04uh,
50:05for your match
50:06versus Proximo,
50:07who is still wearing a mask.
50:08I bet you he wears that
50:10when he's sleeping.
50:11Uh,
50:12I have no doubt.
50:13Okay.
50:14So,
50:15can you invite everybody
50:16to,
50:17to catch it?
50:18Uh,
50:20and,
50:21the slate,
50:22the lineup,
50:23for,
50:24for that particular night.
50:25You can catch
50:26FBW Astig
50:27at
50:28Baked Studios
50:29on Yacal Street
50:30in Makati.
50:31Uh,
50:32on July 14.
50:33Doors open at 2 p.m.
50:35You can get your tickets
50:36at Ticket2Me.com.
50:38Your book, buddy.
50:39Your book.
50:40Now,
50:41in terms of matches,
50:42we've got,
50:43uh,
50:44Cuatro versus Evan Carlo.
50:45Very good match.
50:46The Yolo Twins,
50:47uh,
50:48from Katips,
50:49versus,
50:50uh,
50:51James Idol Martinez
50:52and Mike Madrigal.
50:54You got,
50:55Thiago versus Jeffrey,
50:57a Jeff Hardy fan.
50:58Ha, ha, ha.
50:59Jan Evander versus
51:00Callie Nueva.
51:01They are,
51:02uh,
51:03luchadores.
51:04Well,
51:05really tiny people,
51:06but move really fast,
51:07and they're really strong.
51:08So,
51:09I'm looking forward to that.
51:10You got,
51:11Ralph Mobayashi versus
51:12Roxy Reeves.
51:13Uh,
51:14Vet versus
51:15Rookie Match.
51:16Uh,
51:17Chino Guinto versus
51:18Dax Javiera.
51:19And if Chino Guinto loses,
51:20he quits the company.
51:22Whoa.
51:23Interesting.
51:24I quit match.
51:25Stakes are high.
51:26Okay.
51:27For Dax,
51:28if he,
51:29if he loses,
51:30nothing happens,
51:31nothing happens to him.
51:32Ha, ha, ha.
51:33High risk, huh?
51:34High risk.
51:35No reward.
51:36Uh,
51:37and then you got,
51:38me versus Proximo.
51:39And,
51:40uh,
51:41obviously,
51:42that's going to be
51:43one hell of a match.
51:44It's a main event.
51:45Don't expect to stay there long.
51:47And then after that,
51:48Hammer will come out,
51:49apparently.
51:50Uh,
51:51as a new tag team,
51:52as a new tag team contender.
51:54Hammer comes out,
51:55misses terribly
