00:00This is the declaration of the result of the poll for the Member of Parliament for Peterborough
00:07on Thursday 4th July 2024.
00:11I, Michael Gladslow, being the Acting Returning Officer at the election of the Member of Parliament
00:16for Peter constituency received, did hereby give notice that the number of votes recorded
00:21for each candidate at the said election is as follows.
00:25Bristol Call, Local Conservatives, 13,300.
00:34Dave Hennessy, Nicola Jane, Green Party, 2,542.
00:43Hussain Amjad, Workers' Party of Britain, 5,051.
00:49Khan Zahid Ijaz, Independent, 211.
01:00Maurice Susan Malansi, Reform UK, 5,379.
01:08Hanks Andrew Elliott, Labour and Co-operative Party, 13,418.
01:19Adam McIntyre, History of People's Lives, 225.
01:26Sandford James Nicholas, Liberal Democrat, 1,746.
01:36There were 49 papers rejected where the voters were not invited to based on the number one.
01:42There were four papers where the voter could be identified.
01:45And there were 90 papers where they were void for uncertainty, which was 143.
01:50The turnout was 57.27% based on 42,021 papers issued.
01:57And I do hereby declare that Andrew Elliott Cakes is duly elected as Member of Parliament
