00:00We went to dinner and like hung out in his like hotel courtyard and I just got to know him and

00:06honestly like he he really is such a hero like he has had such an incredible impact on artists

00:13around the world that started playing music because of him in Back to the Future and including Coldplay.

00:19I think like Chris said on stage that he that he was the reason that Coldplay like became a band

00:24and yeah I was just amazed talking to him about what it's like to be someone different and have

00:32a body that's different in public and how everyone will always have something to say about that and

00:38want to focus on that and the day after the the show a headline came out about me that said you

00:44know one armed piano player on stage with Coldplay rather than Victoria Canal singer-songwriter on

00:50the same label as Coldplay um and I showed it to him and I was crying and I was like I don't know

00:56what to do with this because I always no matter what I do no matter how hard I work at music I

01:01seem to be defined by this one thing and he said you know what Victoria I've been dealing with that

01:06for 40 years the best thing you can do is do your thing and just let them say what they're going to

01:11say so it's just so inspiring and impactful to meet him and it really changed my life actually.
