00:04The 2024 Second Series General Investigation Report came out today.

00:08The biggest government project bottleneck is the life-sustaining project that costs nearly 4.4 billion yuan.

00:15The life-sustaining project was recommended by former Prime Minister Na Ji during his term in office in 2010.

00:19The purpose is to re-evolve the Emei River and Basheng River,

00:22bringing high economic benefits to the 110-kilometer area along the river.

00:26However, according to the report,

00:28there are 12 projects that are in preparation for execution

00:32as of July 2023.

00:36Eight projects are under construction,

00:39and two projects have not been appointed after the contract is terminated.

00:43The total cost of the project is now more than 3.9 billion yuan.

00:47Due to the failure of the project, it is expected to wait another eight years.

00:51Not only will it not be able to pay back,

00:53but it may also continue to increase the government's costs.

01:21However, the General Investigation Report came out today revealed

01:24that more than 12 projects have not been started,

01:27and a basket of problems have not been properly solved,

01:30including the machines responsible for flushing garbage can no longer operate,

01:34and workers need to manually flush garbage,

01:38and even a large amount of building materials have been rusty and thrown aside.

01:42The General Investigation Report recommends that the Federal Bureau of Investigation re-evaluates

01:46whether the projects that have not yet entered the preliminary execution stage

01:49will continue,

01:51while also considering the various aspects of the government's financial budget,
