00:00Hi there, my name's Kelly Brown and I'm the editor of the Portsmouth News and I'm about to go and vote.
00:05So before I head off, I've got everything I need.
00:08So I've got my polling card so that I know where my polling station is to make sure I go to the right place.
00:13I've got a plethora of leaflets that have come through from various candidates
00:17and I've been on to the Portsmouth News website to find out a little bit more about the ones that haven't sent me any information
00:24and just know, again, who all the candidates are so I know who to vote for.
00:27And very importantly, photo ID. So this is the first general election where you need photo ID
00:34so a driving licence or a passport is obviously the preferred option there.
00:39Right, so I've just arrived at my local polling station which is at school
00:44and I'm going to go in now and cast my vote.
00:47Right, and I'm all done and that couldn't have been easier
00:49and there's staff in the polling station that can help you if you get stuck.
00:53So if you haven't yet voted, get out there and do it today.
