*Sahih Bukhari Hadees No. 1*

** Narrated by Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) **

The first hadees in Sahih Bukhari, the most authentic book of Hadith, sets the tone for the entire collection. In this hadees, Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"Deeds are but by intentions, and every man shall have that which he intended."

(Translation: Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadees 1)

This hadees highlights the importance of intentions and goals in our actions. It teaches us that our deeds are judged not only by their outward appearance but also by the intentions behind them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasizes that our actions are a direct reflection of our intentions, and we will be rewarded or held accountable accordingly.

This fundamental principle guides Muslims in their daily lives, encouraging them to purify their intentions and strive for sincerity in all their deeds.
