Greens support Coalition plan to tackle price gouging

The Federal Opposition's idea to break up the nation's supermarket chains is causing ructions within liberal ranks. Some MPs claim they were ambushed by the policy which they say is at odds with the party's free market ideals. But the coalition's leadership insists it's needed to make sure the biggest retailers play fair.
