Alleged perpetrator attended deradicalisation program

It's been revealed a Sydney teenager accused of stabbing a university student had been attending a government-run deradicalisation program. The 14-year-old boy is currently undergoing a mental health assessment in hospital. Police say he was dressed in camouflage gear when he is alleged to have stabbed a 22-year-old on the Sydney University Campus yesterday. The boy had been arrested and charged over an unrelated matter last year and the charges later dropped.
