00:00This morning, parts of Victoria experienced their coldest mornings for two years, but
00:05that hasn't stopped people here at Albert Park on the fringe of Melbourne's CBD from
00:09going about their morning routines, including walking the dogs and apparently participating
00:13in a fun run.
00:14It got down to 1.2 degrees here in Melbourne just after 5am.
00:18The coldest spot in Victoria was Mount Hotham in the state's alpine northeast.
00:23It got down to negative 5.2, which is the third consecutive day that it has been colder
00:28than negative 0.5 in that area.
00:30The Bureau says there could be a flurry of snow for areas above 1200 metres in Victoria,
00:34while there are also frost warnings for the entire state, as well as alpine parts of New
00:39South Wales and eastern South Australia.
00:42In the Melbourne CBD area, the coldest spot was Coldstream on the outer eastern fringe
00:47at negative 3.2 degrees.
00:49It's also had days of negative 3.4 and negative 4.5 since winter began.
00:55So very cold days here.
00:56I've drawn the short straw into talking about the weather.
00:59But the Bureau also says that we're not out of the woods just yet.
01:02The cold days are set to continue tomorrow and potentially across the rest of the week
