00:00How are you, people in Spanish family? I'm William Valdez and I send you a greeting and a hug to all the readers, to all the people who are connected through social networks.
00:12And well, I'm here today to talk about this invitation to be part of Unidos por la Música and this summer campaign called Niños Sin Hambre.
00:22A long time ago, I went to a Turkey Drive in California, where Unidos por la Música invited me to be part of it.
00:31And well, from there I met Oscar, who is the chief commander of this foundation and of this organization.
00:39We have always been in contact, I have always followed them on social networks and I have seen all the work they do.
00:46And well, through my public relationist, who also supports me a lot, Alberto Gómez, who also supports the cause a lot,
00:52they invited me to be part of this campaign and well, I am happy to put my voice and put my grain of sand for this summer
01:00and for the whole community to know about the great work that is being done in Unidos por la Música.
01:04I just started to get to know a little more about this reality that exists and more in the United States,
01:10well, we think that the United States is the country of wonders, right?
01:13It is the country where there is no hunger, one is going to fulfill one's American dream and well, reality.
01:19For many families it is another.
01:21I, the truth, was not very informed about what the numbers of the families have been and all this,
01:28but the truth is that it is chilling.
01:31When we sat down to talk about the campaign and what it was going to be, they started to comment on the numbers
01:39and the truth is that there are many families, there are many mothers, there are many children who do not have anything to eat in the United States.
01:45So, the truth is that I was in shock and well, that was also why I decided to be part of this campaign.
01:54I don't have children, but I do have nephews and I have five nephews.
01:57The truth is that it has been very nice because I am the favorite uncle.
02:01I do want children later, obviously, but the truth is that every time we have had a dinner or a lunch at my brother's house,
02:10at my house, whatever, in Miami, I have always told them to finish their food.
02:14It is super important that the food is finished because there are many children who do not have it.
02:18And the other thing is that I have always told them, now that they are a little older, it is like,
02:22hey, if they are at school and it is lunchtime, it is recess time and you see that a child does not bring food,
02:30does not bring his lunch box, whatever, then share your food because you have food at home,
02:35but we do not know what the situation of those children is.
02:39So, I have always been like the uncle who has told them, if you see that a child does not bring food to school, share, share, share.
02:47In addition to this campaign, I am very happy because soon a campaign with PETA will be released,
02:52which I am also an activist and obviously always defending the rights of animals.
02:57Here is Benito. Benito, come so I can say hello to the people.
02:59Benito, well, Benito does not want to appear on camera, but here is Benito, who is my best friend's puppy.
03:05Well, the truth is that I have theater, I am going to do theater here in Mexico, I am very happy and I am going to give you exclusives.
03:13In the next few weeks I will set up a very, very beloved and well-known theater play by the Mexican public here in Mexico,
03:19which is called Tok Tok, there I will be doing the character of Otto and well, there is Benito.
03:25And next week, well, yes, next week we will see the dates to debut and the truth is that I am very happy to share the stage with Lolita Cortez
03:36and many great actors who are part of this great work.
03:42Yes, it has been rumored a lot that I could be part of the RBD musical.
03:46What can I tell you about it? Well, I can't tell you much.
03:50I can't confirm or deny the information that you, as a magazine, have.
03:56I still think there is a little bit left to be able to talk about it.
04:02What I can tell you is that yes, there was an approach from the production of the musical.
04:09I am super happy, I am very excited.
04:13We are still in that stage of negotiations to see if it happens or not.
04:19But yes, it would be incredible because I have always been a fan of RBD.
04:25I am giving this exclusive to you because you have always given me that affection and that support.
04:31So there are negotiations, that's all I can say.
04:34The year started, the year started very well, the truth is a couple of projects out there.
04:39And I would like to finish it with my return to television here in Mexico.
04:44There have been many opportunities, many negotiations.
04:49If I'm here, if I'm there, if I'm in this project, if I'm not in this project.
04:53But at the end of the day, I think I'm already in a stage, I'm 30 years old.
04:58I am in an important stage of making important decisions where I want to be in the right project.
05:07I say it again, I have done castings, we have been very close to being in several television programs here in Mexico.
05:16But at the end of the day, it is not what I am looking for, it is not what they are looking for.
05:22And I want something that is already a challenge for me.
05:29So I am super happy and happy for the approach and the interest that many people have had.
05:36But we are still waiting to return to television with that long-awaited project.
05:42So nothing, I wanted to tell you all as always, because you are my family, I have always told you.
05:47And well, I send you a greeting and a hug from Mexico City.
05:50I love you very much and I am always grateful for all the support you have always sent me.
