00:00Good morning to all of you. It's already midweek and it's time to put our time live from the Weather Forecasting Center.

00:07The time is now Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

00:12In our latest satellite images, two weather systems are still affecting our country.

00:16This Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ is affecting particularly in the northern part of Mindanao and in the area of Palawan.

00:24In the eastern section of the country, the easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean will bring isolated thunderstorms,

00:33particularly in the eastern section of our country.

00:37In ten parts of our province, in Manila, in ten parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,

00:43we will still experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms,

00:47especially from afternoon to night, followed by localized thunderstorms.

00:51In the next few days, we expect that this Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ,

00:56we expect that its effect will weaken or it will not affect our country much in the next few days.

01:03Based on our data, we have not yet monitored any low-pressure areas.

01:08At least in the next two to three days, there is still a small chance that we will have a thunderstorm

01:12inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:15But again, this month of July, we expect two to three thunderstorms inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:24This is what we expect the weather to be like this Wednesday.

01:29Here in Luzon, we still expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in a large part of Luzon.

01:37We still expect rain showers and thunderstorms, localized thunderstorms, from afternoon to night.

01:43It is possible that it will still be hot in the afternoon.

01:46The temperature outside is 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.

02:11Here in Palawan, the sky is cloudy.

02:16There is a high chance of ITCZ rains affecting Palawan.

02:21The temperature in Kalayaan Islands is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:25In Puerto Princesa City, 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:29Meanwhile, in Kabisayaan, we expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

02:36The temperature in Tacloban is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:40In Iloilo, 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:43Meanwhile, in Cebu, 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:47There is a high chance of rain showers and thunderstorms.

02:50In Zamboanga Peninsula, along with Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi,

02:54this is the part of Western Mindanao that is also affected.

02:57You can see that the area here in our country

03:00will experience more thunderstorms due to ITCZ.

03:04In 11 parts of Mindanao, there are isolated rain showers

03:08and localised thunderstorms and easterlies.

03:13In Cagayan de Oro, the temperature is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:18In Zamboanga, 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:21Meanwhile, in Dabao, 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

03:25As of now, we do not have a high-level gale warning

03:28so the sea vehicles and even small boats

03:32can safely sail through our country.

03:34However, if there are thunderstorms,

03:36there will be a high-level gale warning.

03:38Meanwhile, our sun will rise later at 5.31 a.m. and set at 6.29 p.m.

03:46And because we are able to monitor more thunderstorms

03:50that are occurring in our country,
