The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, July 2, said it has not monitored a tropical cyclone near or inside the country’s area of responsibility that may influence the weather conditions in the next two to three days.

00:00Let's first look at the weather systems that are currently affecting some parts of our country,

00:09As of now, the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCC, is still ongoing.
00:13This is where the wind will blow from the northern and southern hemispheres.
00:17And the blowing of this wind is possible to cause rain that will bring scattered rains
00:23in the areas of Palawan and some parts of the Mindanao area.
00:28In some parts of our country, the effect of the easterlies is still ongoing.
00:32This is the hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean.

00:54We are just monitoring the thunderstorm advisory issued by our Pag-asa Regional Services Division.
01:00As of now, we are not being monitored by low-pressure areas or typhoons inside and outside our Philippine area of responsibility.
01:07So for the next two to three days, we are not expecting typhoons or low-pressure areas
01:12that will affect any part of our country.
01:15Let's hope that the hot weather will continue in a large part of our province.
01:20Let's hope that the chances of localized thunderstorms will be different.
01:24As of now, the weather in Luzon, as we mentioned earlier,
01:29we are still expecting hot weather and there are still chances of sudden or temporary rains,
01:35usually in the afternoon and evening, as well as localized thunderstorms.
01:39As for the temperature outside, it will be 26 to 33 degrees Celsius,
01:4617 to 25 degrees for Baguio City,
01:4925 to 35 degrees for Tuguegarao,
01:53maximum temperature for Metro Manila will be 33 degrees Celsius,
01:58and 32 degrees Celsius for Tagaytay and Legazpi City.

02:45for Kalayaan Islands, it will be 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
