00:00We did a tiny excavation from the edge of a large pit that had been dug in 1971-72 inside the cave
00:09and this is where we found some remarkable finds that date back to 11 and 12 000 years ago.
00:16It's very very exciting, extraordinary.
00:24It's a time capsule, it's preserved things so well, everything that's come out of
00:36the small excavations that have been placed,
00:40it's just information that's just opened the door to a
00:46broader understanding of the cultural use of the place.
