@Gocciedimemoria Dorian Elizabeth Leigh Parker (San Antonio, April 23, 1917 – Falls Church, July 7, 2008) was an American model, considered one of the first icons in the fashion industry, and one of the first supermodels. In 1953, at the age of thirty-six years, Richard Avedon photographed the model for Revlon's most famous advertising campaign "Fire and Ice", which was enormously successful and won the "Magazine Advertisement of the Year" award. In 1980 Dorian Leigh published his autobiography The Girl Who Had Everything (in Italian: The girl who had everything). She died in Falls Church, Virginia on 7 July 2008 at the age of ninety-one, cared for at home due to Alzheimer's disease.
