The peloton heads to the first ascent of the day, dedicated to an icon: Fausto Coppi, the first rider to achieve the Giro-Tour double. The Strava KOM on these slopes was beaten yesterday by a local youngster, Matteo Pinzello (19 years old), who can only dream of riding on the same tracks as Coppi.
