00:00Billboard we are here with Blast. Brother just announced his debut album is on the way,
00:07why now? It's about time. It's about that time I felt like it was no better time than now and I
00:12went through dropping a couple projects but everything I learned is in this project right
00:16now and I kind of approached it like if I was a kid pulling all my inspirations what would that
00:21sound like? Live instruments tapping into different cultures it's a concept album I'm
00:26really excited about this. Could we get a name? I'll always come find you July 19th.
00:33Why that title? That's a deep one right there. Man it's an introspective journey more so than
00:38anything just reflecting on everything that I've been through and just kind of a note to myself
00:43like go get lost go through what you got to go through it's gonna be ups and downs but just know
00:47I'm not gonna judge you through the process and I'll always got your back through it all. I love
00:51that brother you were part of the historic pop-out not too long ago talk about that experience the
00:57unification of LA and what that means for the city. That was history I felt honored to be a
01:01part of that moment just reflecting on everything Dr. Dre, Snoop and just the legacy that they
01:07laid to be a part of that moment with Kendrick it was like beautiful and the way he did it
01:12showcasing other artists coming up from LA there's so many layers to the greatness that
01:17that that man holds man it's crazy. That was a money moment man of the hour tonight Mr.
01:21Usher Raymond so I gotta ask you your favorite Usher record of all time? Man that's the most
01:27challenging thing I gotta go with the Confessions album and then we're gonna say maybe Caught Up.
01:34Got me feeling it I like that hey blast my brother can't wait for the debut album.
