00:00the future of our country is going to look like. Polarisation of public discourse could
00:06very well lead to a direct opposition between extremes. This will not be good for democracy,
00:14for public debate or for France. For the second round of elections, I of course call on you to
00:21vote for the Horizon, Renaissance and Modem candidates who are stood in the running.
00:26When they are fighting against the extremes, I would call on you to vote for the Communists,
00:35Greens, Social Democrats, despite differences that we are all aware of, are still fighting
00:44for liberty and are still fighting for order, for the rule of law, for the independence of
00:51our justice system, are still fighting for the idea that Europe is a source of solutions
01:00and not problems, fighting against Islamic radicalism, fighting for fairness and the
01:06value of work. Therefore, I believe that no vote should go to the Rassemblement National
01:14and no vote should go to La France Insoumise with whom we have fundamental differences
01:20in values. In line with that position, I call on candidates who may be in the third position,
01:29therefore who have no hope of winning, to promote the election of one of the
01:37candidates from the parties with whom we have the same democratic ideals.
01:41Our country is full of resources. We know how to act when we have to, but sometimes you need
01:50to see the cliff to know it is there. And the cliff is indeed there. We need to rebuild the
01:56right and the centre parties. I am ready to do that. Long live the Republic. Long live France.
