The Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry said the 12 Chinese tourists who were injured in a bus crash in Pahang are in stable condition and receiving treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital as well as the Bentong and Temerloh hospitals.

They are among the 18 passengers on board a tour bus that overturned along the Genting Highlands-Genting Sempah road at 11am on June 29, killing two of them.

00:39in overnight, and they appeared to be calm despite the ordeal.

01:29the bus had been changed three times in the span of the six-day trip of the Chinese tourists
01:35from Yunnan Province.
01:36There were problems involving the lack of air conditioning, absence of seatbelts, and
01:41noises emitting from the bus.
02:12Following the bus crash, the bus driver who was found to have no proper driving license
02:18has been remanded for four days to help with police investigation.
02:22The Ministry said the travel agency involved will risk having its license suspended if
02:28its investigation reveals that the agency failed to comply with the standard operating
02:33procedures.
