00:15say Beryl's rapid growth is highly unusual for this early in the season. Forming in the

00:19central Atlantic this June, it's only the handful of storms ever recorded by NOAA for

00:23this time and place. Right now, Beryl is churning towards Barbados and the Windward Islands.

00:29Local authorities are urging everyone to prepare for the worst and follow safety guidelines.

00:34This season, forecasters predict between 17-25 named storms. Out of those, 8-13 could become
