00:00This week, the Health Inspection banned the production of Dukat's milk dessert, Muki, due to the appearance of mold in recent days, there have been reports that a similar mold has appeared on some other Dukat's products.
00:30Last week, the public was shocked by the news that a gray mold was found in the Dukat's milk dessert for children. Immediately after the first reports, the Health Inspection reacted and banned the production and trade of these milk products.
00:43At the same time, there was a strong storm in which the Dukat's milk dessert withdrew the total amount of Muki from the trading network. But at the address of the evening news, in the meantime, there were several reports of citizens who found gray mold, like those in Muki, in the Dukat's top with 2.8% of milk fat.
01:00The head of the Zagreb Health Inspection, Nadej Brkljačić, categorically excluded this possibility. Namely, the mold found in Muki could not appear in the top with 2.8% of milk fat, because that is the top of the Dukat's product.
01:14By the way, the control carried out in the Dukat showed that the mold appeared in Muki due to a failure in the production process. It hit a possible production line, which was not immediately computerized, so the error was not noticed before the product was released on the market.
01:28As we know, the failure in the Dukat's drive is in progress and will be completed these days. In Lurin, they do not exclude the possibility that some mold appeared in the top. But in that case, the cause can only be poor storage.
01:41What kind of mold is in Muki will be found out tomorrow, when the Health Inspection will publish the results of the analysis. We do not officially admit that such a mold can appear exclusively on dairy products with the addition of fruit.
02:24According to the Health Inspection, in the top of the Dukat's product, a mold was found. Although the amount of mold found is not greater than the permitted measure established by the Regulation on Microbiological Standards, it has been decided that the search will be prolonged.
02:35An additional analysis will determine the type of mold. So far, the search has found that 5% of the mold on the Muki product is porous, and there is also a crack in the valve on the production line in the Dukat. All this, according to the State Inspection, could affect the cause of the cancer that caused the mold.
02:53The Croatian Institute for Public Health has expanded the search for almost the entire assortment of Dukat's dairy products.
