00:00After a thrilling opening stage of the Tour de France in Italy, stage two looks set to be just as exciting.
00:07Starting in Cesenatico on the Adriatic coast, 199km await the riders.
00:13They race their way inland before arriving to the first two third category climbs of the day, the Cote di Monticino and the Cote d'Alesterna.
00:21The latter a short 1.2km but averaging 12.8%.
00:27From there it's the one and only intermediate sprint at Dozza and after some flatter, straightforward roads,
00:32the climbing begins once again with the only fourth categorised climb, the Cote di Monticino di Zocca,
00:38followed by the Cote di Monte Calvo, 2.7km at 7.7%.
00:43Bologna the end destination but two ascents of the Cote di San Luca, an eye-watering 1.9km climb, averaging 10.6%.
00:51But with gradients of 19% this is going to favour the climbers and those who can thrive in the Ardennes classics.
