00:00Hello, welcome to my channel, my dear friends, today I will tell you about a world-famous mythological bird
00:12. Simurg bird. Simurg means 30 birds in Persian.
00:20Although this bird is based on Iranian mythology, it has also taken place in the mythology and legends of other nations over time.
00:29Simurg, also known as the Anka bird from time to time, is the counterpart of the Turkish mythology, Huma or Turul bird.
00:38The counterpart in the mythology of the Western world is the Phoenix.
00:43The common features of these legendary birds are that they are immortal and inaccessible.
00:49In other words, this bird has existed since the beginning of the world and will never die.
00:56It flies in the heights and lives on the imaginary mountain of Kaf.
01:02Whoever is hit by the shadow of this bird, those people are the luckiest people in the world.
01:09This bird is also called the fortune bird or the state bird.
01:14It is so old that it has witnessed the collapse of the world three times.
01:20It has learned so many things that it has knowledge of all time.
01:26For this reason, knowledge is beyond the minds.
01:33In Iranian mythology, this bird is believed to live in the area of the sacred Hauma plant, which is said to be the home of Gao Kerana, which is also called the tree of knowledge, and which treats all kinds of evil things.
01:48When it dies, it is a bird that burns itself and then reborns from its own ashes.
01:58The beauty of the colors of the Anka bird is also known as the Zümrüdü Anka bird due to its resemblance to the Zümrüdü Anka bird.
02:07It is imagined as a winged giant, whose feathers contain all colors, its wings are golden and red, and its body and head are purple.
02:24It is also depicted as a bird with a dog's head and lion claws from time to time.
02:32This bird was first mentioned in the 41st article of the Age of Varharan, the 14th chapter of the famous work of the Iranian philosopher Zerdüşt.
02:45Simurgh, the national epic of the Persian and Iranian giants, has become the most famous in the book of the Shahnameh, that is, the Shahn.
02:55Simurgh has a relationship with Prince Zal in the Shahnameh.
03:00According to the Shahnameh, King Sam's son Zal was born as Albino.
03:05When King Sam sees his son Albino, he thinks that the child is the seed of devils and leaves the child again.
03:15Simurgh, with a soft heart that hears the child's cries, takes the child and raises it.
03:20Zal has learned wisdom from Simurgh, who has all kinds of knowledge, and has learned many things.
03:27Still, when he grows up and becomes an adult, he wants to enter the world of people.
03:33Although Simurgh is very sad, he allows him to go by giving him a golden feather.
03:39If Zal needs Simurgh's help, he will burn this feather.
03:45When he returns to his kingdom, he falls in love with beautiful Rudaba and marries her.
03:51His wife is pregnant with a son.
03:54But when it's time to give birth, they have a lot of problems.
03:58Zal realizes that his wife will die at birth.
04:02And while Rudaba is about to die, he decides to call Simurgh.
04:07The emerging Simurgh provides Zal with a kind of caesarean method.
04:13It saves the life of Rudaba and the child.
04:16This child will later be one of the famous Persian heroes, Rüstem.
04:23Iranian Sufi poet Feriduddin Attar
04:27Zümrüt-ü Anka is also mentioned in Mantık-ı Tayr, which is a penciled work.
04:34In this work, the poet uses the work of Imam Ghazali called Risalet-ü Tayr.
04:42The subject of Mantık-ı Tayr is as follows.
04:45The birds gather among themselves and state that no country is without a sultan,
04:51that no order and order can be established in a country without a sultan.
04:56Süleyman, who is among them and represents the murshid,
05:00The Mahrem of the Prophet and the postman Hüdhüd says that he will guide them on this issue.
05:07They gather under the leadership of Hüdhüd.
05:10But when he realizes that the road is far and difficult,
05:14Bülbül, parrot, peacock, goose, keklik, doğan, balıkçıl, baykuş and some other birds
05:22They want to give up the journey by moving forward with an excuse.
05:26Hüdhüd persuades them by answering all the birds.
05:31In front of them, there are seven valleys called Talep, Aşk, Marifet, İstina, Tevhid, Hayret, Fakr-ı Fena.
05:41When they pass them, he tells them that they will reach Simurg, their sultans.
05:47Only 30 of the birds set on the road again cross these valleys in sick and tired condition and reach in front of a majestic lodge.
05:59When a postman comes here and realizes that they are asking for Simurg,
06:04He tells them to read by putting a piece of paper in front of them.
06:10Birds reading on paper are surprised to see that all they do is written.
06:17Simurg also manifests at this time.
06:21But the Simurg they see is no other being than themselves.
06:27Simurg also see themselves in Simurg and be amazed.
06:33Meanwhile, a voice is heard.
06:36You came here 30 birds.
06:41If you came more or less, you still look that much.
06:46This is a mirror.
06:48As a result, they all died in Simurg.
06:52Now there is no way, no traveler, no guide.
06:58The shadow disappears in the sun.
07:0130 birds, whose destination is Maqsoud, realize that the Simurg they are looking for is themselves.
07:08At-Tar used the pattern of Arzun-Failatun-Failatun-Fairun in this world-famous profession.
07:18In the following centuries, the poets of Divan, Gülşehri and Çağatay,
07:26Alişir Nevai, Feriduddin At-Tar's famous poem
07:31They immortalized the work and subject by writing.
