00:03Let's break down the Beverly Hills cop universe.
00:06Here we go.
00:09Eddie Murphy is back as Axl F,
00:12aka Axl Foley, a bad ass cop from Detroit.
00:17Here he is with his cop friend, Freedman.
00:19Axl pretty much always wears a Detroit Lions jacket
00:23and he has like no fear.
00:25The guy has balls.
00:27Axl first came to Beverly Hills in 1984
00:30to track down a lead in the murder of his friend, Mikey.
00:33He solved the case with the help of three members
00:36of the Beverly Hills Police Department.
00:38Billy Rosewood, Sergeant Taggart, and Lieutenant Bogomil.
00:42By the way, Rosewood and Taggart are total buddy cops
00:46and Taggart is always kind of grumpy
00:47because his wife, Maureen,
00:48keeps leaving him and coming back again.
00:51He's probably also annoyed
00:52because Axl is always trolling other cops.
00:55Like when he puts a banana in Taggart and Rosewood's

01:29So he comes back to Beverly Hills
01:30and teams up with Rosewood and Taggart again.

01:37Anyway, they take out the bad guys.
01:39Side note, Chris Rock's first big screen role
01:42is in this movie.
01:44Axl returns to Beverly Hills a few times after that,
01:46getting into more and more chaos.
01:50Cut to 2024.
01:53Axl is still on the force in Detroit.
01:55Taggart is unretired and back with the Beverly Hills PD
01:59and Rosewood left the department
02:00to become a private investigator.
02:02But the biggest news, Axl has a daughter.
02:06She's a criminal defense attorney in L.A.
02:08and she sometimes works with Rosewood.
02:10When Jane decides to defend a person
02:12framed for murdering a cop, Jane's life is threatened.
02:15Rosewood goes missing and Axl lands back in L.A.
02:20That's where he meets Bobby, who's also a detective,
02:22and Jane's ex-boyfriend.
02:24He also meets Captain K. Grant.
