00:00Oh man, absolute legend of the sport, hall of famer, pretty much done all there is to do in the sport.
00:11As a kid I was really enjoying watching him when he was playing at his best level and not complaining because then he was playing something amazing, tennis, amazing rallies, you can feel it was like a chess match, so I really enjoyed it.
00:28He's one of the biggest competitors the sport's ever seen, not saying a lot, there's a lot of unbelievable competitors and he's right at the top of that list, he's an incredible player.
00:39He's one guy that went out of his way to help me when I was coming onto the tour, I played doubles with him really young at Indian Wells, I think I was 18 and he was top 3 in the world at least, he'll be sorely missed and I hope, I had that heartbreaker against him last year at Aussie Open so I won't miss playing against him,
00:55but hopefully he can go out on his terms and how he wants to and how he should deserve to go out.
01:01It's really incredible winning Grand Slams, being number 1 in the world, especially with the best guys in the world in the history of tennis playing at that time, it's just an incredible competitor off the court also, such a great person and also he showed his character coming back after the surgeries and competing, it's been a lot of pleasure to practice with him, to share some court time.
01:27Yeah, it'll be an unbelievable legacy, I think to battle it out with probably the greats of our sport, with Roger Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, in my eyes he's right up there with one of the greatest of all time, the way he's battled, the way he's played one slams in this era, he's a player that probably every player looks up to for certain things and just a great guy around the locker room also, that's going to be missed too.
01:57.
