00:06celebrating the Latino community so it's a it's a big part of sort of my
00:10personal mandate to to continue to tell stories and and present positive you
00:18know people characters role models for for America I mean I think you know
00:24without being too political about anything you know this country's going
00:29through some interesting times and we hear and I leave Latinos within this
00:36business it's our responsibility to counter these these net negative
00:43narratives about who we are so you know part of my duty is make sure that I'm
00:48part of pushing positive visions and stories about who we are I'm directing a
00:56feature called the night comes in August I'm doing a smart I'm doing a lot of
01:02things but the thing I'm really excited about right now is my feature debut so
01:09you know I'll be in pre-production soon I have my cast we're gonna shoot in
01:16Vancouver and it's very exciting I mean I think in another year from now you'll
01:21probably be talking to me about this project and I can't wait for that I
01:24can't wait for an audience to sit down and see what I've created I have about
01:35two weeks off and then I go to work so I don't really have much of a summer but
01:39I'm happy to not have a summer I'm happy to be working
