00:00I never wanted to go behind the camera before, acting was sort of my my whole
00:11raison d'etre for a very long time in my career, but I got this call from a guy
00:15called Joe Duran who said, do you want to make a film about my best friend Margaret
00:18Moth who died in 2010? And my mind flickered all the way back to 1992 when I
00:26remember the news report about this incredible New Zealand war correspondent,
00:30a camera woman, who had been shot by a sniper in Sarajevo and I was possessed
00:37in that moment. I don't know what gave me the gumption to say yes, I will do it, I
00:42will find the money, I'll find the producers, we'll make this happen. It was
00:47it wasn't a conscious choice, it was like Margaret chose me to tell her story and
00:54I'm so, I guess that's why it's such a surprise, you know, it was like not the
00:59plan, I don't think I had a plan. I'm not there to lecture you about, to think this
01:04way about it or feel this way about it, so you'll have two people in the same
01:07family will see the film and come away with completely different impressions of
01:11Margaret. Some people say she's amazing, she's inspirational, some people
01:15say what a terrible woman, but what a force of nature.
