00:00It's UFC 303 Pereira Brazaca. I guess my first question is, how disappointed is everyone
00:12that the Chandler McGregor thing didn't happen? Are you surprised at all that he pulled out
00:17of yet another fight with another problem, another excuse, another injury? And is this
00:23fight that they've lined up kick-ass or not?
00:29This fight that they've lined up is good. This card has a lot of names on it that you
00:33know spread throughout. Some of them are, you know, until it's the tail end of their
00:37career. And Andrei Arlovsky, Cub Swanson, even Michelle Waterson, Gomez, like you've
00:42watched them all fight, you know, on main events and things like that. But some of them
00:45it's been maybe a decade since they've been completely relevant in their division. But
00:49it's still, you know, the first couple of fights are good. There is, you know, a good
00:53enough card. Is it International Fight Week good? No, you know, this is not what we expected
00:58with this McGregor Chandler card that we're supposed to get. People are going to be really
01:01disappointed with that. Not only was that remade, the top, you know, this co-main was
01:04remade too. I mean, this fight card has had more, you know, has had more changes than
01:09the girl you see at the club. Then all of a sudden you get her home and she loses the
01:11six inch heels and 20 pounds of makeup. You know, it's been a lot different than what
01:14people expected. So it is, you know, not what you're looking for. It's not what everyone
01:18was excited for when they probably made their flights out to Vegas, you know, three, six
01:22months ago, but it's still going to be a good card overall. And, you know, the thing with
01:26I feel bad for Chandler, you know, we talked about it. We're in Vegas. This guy's been
01:28waiting basically for two years for this fight. You know, it's going to be the biggest payday
01:31he's ever had. And then once again, he doesn't get it now. And I know he's, you know, putting
01:35big posts like, don't feel bad for me. I don't want, he doesn't want any of the pity, but
01:39you know, like when you're going to get a huge check like that and it's cause this guy
01:42keeps backing out. Yes. Did he have a legit injury with the pinky though? Sure. But then
01:46you have plenty of fighters that come out and said, really, you need that toe to fight.
01:49So it's easy to knock him for not showing up, even though he, you know, he had an injury,
01:54it was legit, but there's been so many other excuses and so many other reasons this hasn't
01:58happened that it's just like, Oh really? Again, come on, dude.
02:02But they kowtow to him. It is unbelievable to me how this white guy just lets this guy
02:09McGregor just go all over him. Just, just all over him. Well, it's, you know, always
02:16certain fighters that will do that. If you are a big enough draw, then you can, you know,
02:20get that cache and they'll let it go. I mean, look at all the stuff that John Jones has
02:24been through over the years, as great as a fighter as he is, how many different arrests
02:27or other things that would have people, you know, kicked out of three different organizations
02:30yet he keeps or, you know, his layoffs. Yeah, no, there's no one bigger than McGregor with
02:36all stuff, you know, with, again, the arrest and all the other stuff that's been against
02:39him. But when you have that kind of draw, when you bring in, I mean, the guy brought
02:44in $100 million for the, for the fight against Mayweather, he had no chance of ever winning
02:48when you could bring in the cash and it's, you know, six, seven, eight figures, they'll
02:52let you do what you want.
02:53And it's not even six, I'm sorry. It's seven, eight, nine figures. Then they'll let you
02:56get away with murder. It seems like, and it's ridiculous. When are they going to give Chandler
03:03a payday and a fight? And I think they should stop with this ridiculousness with McGregor
03:08and just end that now and give this dude something big because he deserves it. He's been shafted
03:15multiple times.
03:16Yeah, hopefully soon. I mean, it's not going to be anywhere near what he got with McGregor
03:21and it's not going to be at this point with what he's done, you know, the last couple
03:23of fights, a title fight or anything like that, that would give him a big enough payday
03:27to maybe even get half of that. But, you know, it's gotta be something, some kind of big
03:31name they got to bring in and match them with him and give him that chance. You know,
03:34maybe it's a, you know, if we get a rematch him and a guy like, you know, Poirier or something
03:39like that, where you'll get enough money that'll make it worth as well.
03:42But it depends on him too. You know, it's a two way street. So maybe they are offering
03:45things that we don't know. And he's still just waiting for this huge payday and, you
03:49know, making that his last fight. The guy is, you know, his late thirties. So it could
03:52be like, he's like, listen, I just have one fight left to me. Let's make it this guy so
03:55I can, you know, go out on my shield and, you know, go out into retirement with a big
03:58check.
04:00So break down, uh, this Pereira, Bershaka fight for me and how to bet it.
04:07Yeah, this is a rematch. You'll see it out in T-Mobile Vegas tomorrow night. Uh, they
04:11fought just last year, November for this title that now you're going to have Pereira defend
04:16against Bershaka. Bershaka, you know, both these guys are dangerous. Both these guys
04:19are exciting. You know, if you fight these guys against anybody else, you're probably
04:22going to make him the favorite. Uh, Pereira is always the favorite anyway, but Bershaka
04:25against most of this other division is going to be a favorite because the guy's got a great
04:29chin for the most part. And, you know, he's exciting where he comes in and he's going
04:32to go feast or famine. He has that little samurai man, but he's going to go out on his
04:36shield. Either you're going to finish him. He's going to finish you. And most times it
04:39has been him finishing others. The problem is when you're going against, you know, Pereira,
04:44the guy who's nicknamed Poetan, which when translated means stone hands, you can't put
04:48your hands down, chin out and say, go ahead and hit me.
04:51And that's, what's going to cause this guy, you know, extreme confidence that he has in
04:54that chin is going to burn him. And I don't see the champion losing the belt again. Uh,
04:59in this situation, I see that him, you know, him defending this belt, getting another win
05:02against this guy. He's minus one 60 on the money line. Uh, if you want him by KO TKO,
05:06you get it down to plus one 25. So a little extra juice, you know, to go the distance
05:10is minus 600 for now. They don't think there's a chance. This goes all the way, all five
05:14rounds. I don't either. Like I said, going with the finish, let's take a little sprinkle,
05:18get a little extra juice here. Round two, plus 600 round three per hour to win plus
05:231,000. That's not even by KO TKO. That's just him to win in those rounds. And then
05:27if you really want to take a chance at four and five, which I don't see happening, uh,
05:30you can get even higher, like 1,600 or 2,200, but I'm saying a little sprinkle on the plus
05:35600 and plus 1,000 rounds two and three to get a little extra juice there for the main
05:39event and the title fight.
05:40So you think it ends because, uh, these guys are both so brutal and you're telling me those
05:47prices at four and five rounds are outrageous. Like you don't think it could, there's no
05:54way that this could be Epic and that these guys could actually like bloody each other
05:59enough to go into the fourth. I mean, that would be some serious money if you had it
06:03happen in the fourth, that would be some serious money, huge money. If it makes it to the fifth
06:07and then ends there. I mean, the total for the round for this fight is two and a half
06:11and it's minus one 65 to the under. So they're really, you know, they're thinking it might
06:15not even make it to the third. I'm going to give it a little extra credit and say it
06:18can get there, but it's just the Pereira hits so hard. And if you're not going to have the
06:22defense, you know, Gabe talked about it with you. He just, he's one of those guys. He's
06:26like, uh, you know, a wilder, you know, where he just, I have the power and I'm not scared
06:30of you. And eventually, you know, he's taking enough of those shots and it costs you, you
06:34know, even though he is the younger fighter, you take big shots from a guy with this kind
06:37of power, the last thing to go as the guy gets older is that power. So if you're going
06:41to put that chin out, he's going to make you pay for it.
06:44So are you buying that? This Pereira guy is, uh, in the short fights that he's had,
06:52not many, uh, that he's one of the most brutal guys now in the UFC. He's one of the most
06:57dangerous, vicious, brutal guys in the whole outfit.
07:01Yeah. And he's shown that, I mean, this guy did so much damage at one 85. It took out
07:06out of Sonia. Now he was losing that first fight, still got the finish. And then of course
07:10got knocked out again in the rematch, but then he jumps up to two Oh five. That's not
07:14some of these, you know, fights where you're going like, okay, I'll put on like 10 pounds.
07:18It's not that big 20 pound jump from one to five to Oh five. I had my, you know, misgivings
07:23about that saying, I don't know if he's going to translate. These guys are bigger. They
07:26can take harder shots, started knocking out those guys easy. So he is dangerous. He is
07:30dominant. He's even talked about, Hey, maybe I'll try to go up to heavyweight too. So this
07:33guy has no fear of anybody at any size, anywhere.
07:36All right. So, uh, what happened with the Ortega Lopez fight? And, uh, I know you're
07:42betting on this other one, the Irish fight, uh, against venom page, uh, this guy, Gary.
07:49Yeah. With Lopez and Ortega, it was a short notice replacement of Ortega coming in. Lopez
07:54had this fight. Then it was supposed to be a one 45 where they both fight, but they called
07:58a Lopez about 4. I am saying, listen, he can't make weight. Can you go up? So it's at one
08:0255, both guys made that weight. I'm taking Lopez minus one 45 and the short notes with
08:06Ortega and a Lopez, just more dangerous with those heavy hands. I also like him by decision
08:11to plus 400. This is only three rounds. And then as far as the EMH out of Gary and Michael
08:16button page fight page, longtime Bellator fighter, you know, we saw him come over and
08:20to own a two 99 and look great. He's just so different angles. He just frustrates guys.
08:26You don't know how to hit him because he's at such weird angles and somehow he's still
08:29hitting you.
08:30He's got that long reach. You can have a five inch reach advantage. I M G is, you know,
08:33one of these well hyped guys. Everybody loves them. Everybody thinks he's the future. But
08:37when sometimes you meet those guys, a little more veteran, I just know how to fight you
08:41a little differently than you're used to. It can cost you. So I'm gonna go MVP plus
08:44one 25 or MVP plus decision to plus two 25.
