00:00I'm Sophie, I'm from mid-Devon, so I live in a small village in the middle of Devon
00:05and I work in Oakhampton. I've been playing rugby since I was 16 and I've been part of
00:12the England Deaf Rugby Team since 2019. I got diagnosed with hearing loss in 2018
00:20when I was 19 years old and being part of England Deaf has given me huge opportunities,
00:27like the tour in South Africa this year. So we're going to South Africa on the 1st of August
00:32for 10 days to play test matches out there against South Africa, Wales and Australia.
00:39We're also carrying out some charity work whilst we're over there as well
00:42and hopefully going on a safari as well.
