00:00Mustafa Mohamad affirmed that he has resigned from politics and left together,

00:06in addition to placing all positions in September last year.

00:10The statement came after FMT yesterday reported that Bersatu, Kelantan,

00:14is ready to give way to the influential politicians

00:17to take back the chair of the Jelly Parliament if the PRK is held.

00:22Mustafa, better known as Tok Pa, has won the Jelly Parliament since 1995,

00:27before withdrawing from the competition at the PRU15.

00:31Zahary Kecik, his former political adviser, led the Bersatu challenge in Jelly,

00:36won with a majority of 12,464, defeating three other candidates.

00:42He anyway announced his support for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

00:46on November 8 last year,

00:48after advocating various issues affecting the people in his area,

00:52including the cost of living and development benefits.

00:55In addition to Zahary, five other MPs who were also stopped from uniting

01:00in support of Anwar are Muhammad Azizi Abu Naim,

01:03Syed Abu Hussein Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal,

01:06Sohaili Abdul Rahman, Dr. Zulkhaf Peri Hanapi,

01:09and Iskandar Zulkarnain Abdul Khalid.
