ಕಳೆದ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ (Lok Sabha Elections) ವೇಳೆ ಭಾರೀ ವಿವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ವಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಾಗರೋತ್ತರ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಯಾಮ್ ಪಿತ್ರೋಡಾ (Sam Pitroda) ಪುನಃ ಅದೇ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. Sam Pitroda, who had resigned from the post of Overseas Congress chief after making highly controversial statements during the last Lok Sabha Elections, has returned to the same position.
