00:00I had to sign a contract with ABS, Sinister Magic, and UMG Philippines.
00:05After The Voice Kids, I tried out different things.
00:10You know, got into acting for TV.
00:13From there, I just found myself being on television.
00:16Up until the point where I was 15 that I started writing songs
00:21because Coach Bamboo gave me a Baby Taylor.
00:24It's a mini acoustic guitar.
00:26Two years, I didn't touch that thing.
00:28I learned the basic chords and that's when I started writing songs when I was 15.
00:32So my debut album, they titled it JK.
00:35The second album, they titled it JKL.
00:37So creative.
00:38Those albums were kind of like a traditional album.
00:42You know, the artist is a vessel for these songs that are created by other people.
00:49So the artist is the one to perform these songs and then put in an album.
00:52I did that for one album, but I realized I didn't really like it
00:56because I didn't really have any direct connection to the song.
01:01So that's why on my second album, I started putting my own songs.
01:05And then after that, I just went full on musician mode.
