00:00What's up, Paul here from Guitar World, and today we're going to be checking out a serious
00:18modeling guitar processor that's not only a huge bang for your buck, but incredibly
00:22powerful.
00:23The Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Processor.
00:27Let's check it out.
00:33The Donner Arena 2000 is a professional guitar multi-effects processor that boasts daring
00:38tones with amp modeling and a total of 278 effects.
00:42Wow.
00:43There's also flexible multi-function operation where all you need to do is concentrate on
00:47your playing.
00:50Here's some key features that make the Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Processor stand out.
00:55The unit features Donner's exclusive FVACM, otherwise known as Forward Analog Virtual
01:02Circuit Modeling tone processing technology.
01:05In other words, makes it sound real authentic and tube-like.
01:10IR sample length is up to 23.2 milliseconds, giving you really high definition detail.
01:16There's also 80 high-res amp models, 50 cabinet IR models, and 50 slots for loading third-party
01:23IRs for a total of 278 effects.
01:36What's cool with the Arena 2000 is that you can see the signal chain, and what's great
01:40is you can easily move any of these effects blocks.
01:43For example, simply click on this, and you'll see the cursor move along the signal chain.
01:52Click what you want, and then just move it across where you want to put, say, your amp
01:58or your compression or any effects block.
02:00It's really easy to use.
02:16There's also a built-in looper that supports up to 60 seconds of music with reverse, double
02:21speed, and half speed options.
02:28The Arena 2000 also has touchscreen control, which is really great, so if you want to change
02:56or edit any settings, say, for your amp, simply touch amp, and up comes your amp settings,
03:02and use the knobs here to change the values.
03:05There's also a built-in drum machine with 40 different patterns.
03:28One of the coolest features that I really dig about the Arena 2000 is the fact that
03:33it has preset switching control, which allows me to quickly bounce between presets just
03:39in this mode, but say I'm on a particular preset, simply hold, and it puts me into control
03:46mode, which allows me to actually turn effects on or off, or turn whatever I want on or off,
03:54or select and bring something in, so added versatility to the preset, and then simply
04:01click back to go back to preset switching mode.
04:31It also features a built-in EXP-1 expression pedal and external EXP-2 expression pedal.
04:52There's also computer software for the unit for tone editing, backup, and firmware updates,
04:58and you can also fine-tune the parameters via Arena's companion mobile smart app.
05:04Tuner?
05:27The Ultra Compact Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Processor offers a multitude of high-fidelity
05:39amp and effects, along with a looper and a built-in drum machine jam-packed in an easy-to-use
05:44interface, making it a must-have for practice, recording, and live performance.
