June Auto Sales Slump as Cyberattacks Cripple CDK Global Software Provider

US auto sales are projected to decline in June 2022 compared to the same month last year due to disruptions caused by recent cyberattacks on CDK Global, a major provider of dealer management software. The attacks have prevented thousands of auto dealerships across North America from fully operating, some using manual paperwork while others temporarily shut down. With dealerships offline for over a week so far, a significant number of June sales that would have occurred have been pushed to July. CDK Global expects all customers to be fully operational until Sunday.
